The next step I chose was to call Zelle, the number that I called spoke to a gentleman and I told him what happened and he said that they were able to help me so the way it started it was I told him the amount of money that the other person took from me, and from there he asked me to send a certain amount of money to them, so I can get my money back plus the money I sent. That is exactly what I did. So he sent me to his boss which continue to speak to me throughout all the scamming he was doing that I fell for it thinking it was Zelle. Then it started with the Apple gift cards. Each card had to have $500 on them so the gift cards that I purchased were five with $500 and it was many of them and then he continued to tell me you’re going to get your money don’t worry about it And I told him my daughter is sick and I need the money to pay my grandsons school. Things are really tight here and they continue to be tight. My daughter is a cancer. Patient and I lost out on at least $48,000. This gentleman he continue to call me every day every day at least two or three times then he came down to. He was going to send me the money that I needed to open up the App AnyDesk he help me put on this information, and whatever the case may be stating that this is the way you’re going to get your money, but what happened was he said he will call me the following day never calls me. I tried to contact again no contact I couldn’t get a hold of nothing. He had me erase the calls and text from the phone and I just don’t understand.
I weighed it to see if this scammer would call me and tell me that everything worked out and something and I continued and nothing. My next step was to do a research to see who can help me apparently anybody that says that they can help I would have to pay. Meanwhile, my money was gone, I was very stressed depressed and I could not function so I let it sit for a while because I have more important issues to deal with like my daughter being sick.
I did call Apple. I was on the phone with them for sometime. I gave them all my card numbers which I still have and receipts, and only one was to be saved out of all of those cards that I have.
