They posed as a buyer on Facebook marketplace looking to use Zelle for purchase of the item. Once they said they had transferred money, used the Zelle email to send a fraudulent email from the Zelle company saying I needed to upgrade to a business account in order to process the transaction. Of course, to do that they needed me to get the “buyer” to send another 150 and I would then refund them that much. My guess is that they would never send the amount then I would be on the hook for the 150 “refund” I sent. “Buyer” was of course very interested in convincing me that it was real.
