I received a email about a property, I received a text early in the morning about the property. The scammer asked when I would be able to see the property and I stated yesterday at noon. The scammer indicated that I need to complete an application before I saw the property. I completed the application indicating my SS#, address, salary and information about pets. The scammer indicated I had to pay the fee by cashapp, zelle, wirertransfer. I sent funds by cashapp and cashapp declinded. The scammer sent a cashapp request, I in returned declinded. I went back on Zillow to research the agent and it was a lady instead of a man, so I reached out to her and she stated she was not selling or renting that property.
