Type of a scam Online Purchase
On 9/18/17, I ordered a ZKO sample of eyecare and skincare. There was no mention of a 14 day trial or having auto shipments. I paid $4.95 and $5.95 for the samples and I received them.
14 days later, on 10/2, I was charged $94.90 and $89.95, and 4 weeks later, I was charged $91.90 and 85.95, for an auto-delivery service I did not know about or approve and for products I NEVER received.
If I had received products after being charged on 10/2, I would have contacted the company then: however, I didn't find these charges until I was reconciling my debit card charges on 11/02. ZKO would not refund my account even though I didn't approve these charges...and even if I had, I haven't received any products besides the initial samples, but they still won't refund my account.
The samples I ordered contained no literature about the products, or about the 14 day trial and contained no invoice or receipt. It contained a small, "Thank you for your order" note...that was it. They are obviously trying to hide what they are doing.
ZKO has the same phone number, 888 391-7154, as another scam skincare company called Visalia Skincare.
I had clicked on a pop-up when I was online, which incorporated the HGTV show Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines' photo. I clicked on it because I thought it was her skincare line. ZKO skincare is where I was directed.
The links would not let me back up or review anything. I had chosen one product, then clicked to go to the next page, where a different product was described. When I clicked to go to the next page, I realized it was actually ordering each product, just by clicking to the next page. I tried to go back to remove the second product, but the site wouldn't go back.
.
I never got to a summary page or a receipt. When I clicked from one product page to the next, it just automatically placed orders for the products, which couldn't be removed.
The company refuses to refund my money...even for products I never received
