I saw an ad on facebook for a new store offering a piece of furniture at a discounted price for a limited time. I searched through the shop info thoroughly finding a US phone number, an email addy for customer support, a refund + return and 24 hour cancelation policy. It all looked and felt legit so I purchased the furniture for $49.99. I received no receipt nor email confirmation of my order. The site simply disappeared so I couldn't find my order. I tried to call them but got a phone number that went to a voicemail of someone in Delaware with no call back. I tried writing an email which was promptly returned saying no such email. I called the bank and stopped my debit card and I lost my $49.99 to someone in the UK. Others need to know before they get scammed too.
