I received this letter in the mail from "Motor Vehicle Services" (from 1(888) 965-2394). The letter was very vague and ominous and had a lot of repeating information everywhere, especial their phone number. What was immediately suspicious was the fact that they had no email address, website, or return address, although the printed stamp said "mailed from 95813". I did not call them so I don't know what they wanted but I did call the DMV and they confirmed the letter was not from them.

Received in the postal mail a preprinted letter from 1(888) 965-2394 stating " IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED We would like to speak with you about an important matter regarding your 2022 Buick. Please call 1-888-965-2394 as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU. We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice.

I have never purchased anything extra from Carvana beyond the car itself. This is obviously meant to provoke me into immediate response due to me feeling like I am about to lose something. It's all fake. It's also printed like there is a check on the bottom, even though it says in small print it's not a check and not affiliated with my dealer. Seemed official.

Called the number 1(888) 965-2394, asked for record id number. I asked who I was speaking with, and was put on hold. Person came back gave me a warranty speech. $199/mnth last 3 mnths free. Asked and received a name (Brianna, with what sounded like “cential auto”). Ask where they got my information, and they said from me when I gave them the record id number. Asked if I was the owner and if the information was mine. When wouldn’t answer her questions was disconnected.

I received a post card that states: "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED. Our records inticate that you have not contacted us to have your vehicle protection activated. This notice is to inform you that your 2025 RAM (recently purchased vehicle) is in need of vehicle protection in order to ensure its continued good running condition. PLEASE call us at 1-888-965-2394. By neglecting to activate your protection program you will be responsible for paying all repairs out of pocket."

This is misleading and is interpreted as if a person does not call that number to activate this "protection" then the warranty will not be honored.

I received a notice in the mail about not activating a coverage option on a vehicle from 1(888) 965-2394. Called the number and said they were headquartered in St. Louis, but would not provide an address.

I received an official looking piece of mail from “motor vehicle services” stating the following:

1-888-965-2394

Immediate action requested

Record ID: CH 48410###

We would like to speak with you about an important matter regarding your [year] Ford. Please call [Number above] as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU.

We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice.

At the top of the page are accurate personal vehicle description and stock dealership photo, it resembles a dmv form or registration renewal table.

At the bottom, is a region that looks like a check with my name and address, suggesting service location at ‘Any ASE Certified Mechanic’

Beneath it says: not all consumers have previous coverage. We are not affiliated with your dealership or manufacturer. THIS IS NOT A CHECK
