Caller from 713-364-8089 claimed to be from the DEA stating there had been fraudulent charges on her nursing license. The caller got angry when I stopped giving them information. After the call I have had charges and account closed or locked out of.

Received voicemail from 713-364-8089: Yes, hi, this is Agent Sam Morgan calling from the Drug Enforcement Administration. And this message is for Dr. **** **** So this is in regards to doctor's medical license number. As we have found some fraudulent and suspicious activities being carried out under his medical license number, ******. So please get back to us on a callback number that is 713364.I repeat, it's 713-364-8089, as this is an urgent issue pertaining to legal matters. Thank you, and have a good day.

I work in a medical office, the caller from 713-364-8089 started off as a woman then a man took over. They stated to be from the DEA and was asking for identifiable information of the doctor. The woman first asked the doctor if she was alone and if not could she go to a room where she could talk alone. The scammer started off claiming that the physician's medical credentials were used in Texas to obtain pharmaceutical medications. When the doctor started questioning the person on the phone, that's when the man took over the call. He got aggressive and was telling her she needed to take this serious because over a million dollars had been sent to the clinic. Finally he doc just told them to mail something or come in the office if it was that important and hung up. We then looked up the on DEA website how and who to report this incident to. We have sent the information to the FBI through a link on the DEA website, http://www.ic3.gov/
