They continue to call from 888-269-4978 with multiple requests to stop each day. They leave the same info on the voicemail but call from different numbers throughout the United States. I have asked multiple times to be removed from the call list and yet I still get calls.

This scammer from 888-269-4978 calls every day several times a day for months and will not remove my number from their call list, even though Ive asked several times. When blocking their calls or ignoring them, they leave an automated voicemail to call 888-269-4978. Their calls are harassing and even when ignoring them, they fill up my voicemail box so that I have to go remove their messages everyday. They say they will remove my number but theu never do.

I was contacted by a scammer pretending to be from the FTC. The person who called me from 888-269-4978 said they were from the FTC and that my social security number had been compromised. They said I needed to verify my identity and asked for personal information. I did not give them any information because I knew it was a scam. They were very pushy and tried to scare me into giving them information. I hung up on them. I am reporting this number, 888-269-4978, so that others know it is a scam. They are located in Fairfax, VA 22030, USA. Do not trust anyone who calls from this number claiming to be from the FTC.
