Homeowner was overcharged for work done April 14, 2021, in an unspecified amount.
Mr. Fugon met Ms... on doorstep as she was returning home. Mr. Fugon was advised to come back later, Ms. did not wish to discuss any business at that time.
Mr. Fugon persisted however, and with a great deal of pressure, insisted Ms. sign a Work Order committing to $4,500.00.
After A.F&E said work was completed, Mr, Fugon came to the door (with a broad smile),and demanded, in spite of Ms. obvious reluctance, a check for $4500, payable to Aldo Gonzales. Ms. informed Mr. Fugon she was too ill at that time to inspect any work.
The next day Ms., upon seeing what was actually done, realized she had been significantly overcharged.
A day or so later, Mr. Fugon returned to discuss the overcharge, After some negotiations, Mr. Fugon agreed to refund Ms. $1,000.00 as follows:
$500 on Friday, April 23, 2021, and $500 on Friday April 30, 2021.
In addition, Mr. Fugon agreed to return and chip all the cut branches which had been placed on the burn pile, instead of being chipped as was promised. (as of this date 5/8/21, contractractor has Not returned, as promised in compromise.)
Mr. Fugon paid $500 cash on Monday, April 26, 2021. On May 1, 2021, Mr. Fugon was asked about the promised $500 as it was now late. He informed Ms. that he was in Texas, and would pay the remaining $500 upon his return, Friday May 7, 2021.
