On May 21, 2022 I purchased 2 round trip plane tickets through AirBorne Traveler in the amount of $377.52. Departure July 7 Thur. through July 10 Sun. to Raleigh Durham. On the morning of July 7 at 4:14 in the morning I received a email from AirBorne Traveler stating that they regret to inform me my booking had been canceled and amount would be refunded. The amount in the original form of payment and should receive funds in a maximum of 21 to 28 business days. I still have not yet receive a thing from them. I have sent emails and tried to contact them several times. I get hung up on when calling them!

I book flight(so I thought) through Airborntravler. I also purchased the insurance in case we weren’t able to fly. I get to the airport and we don’t have tickets. I call their customer service: call number one they hang up when I ask them about my flight. Second call I’m told tickets will be sent in twenty minutes. Third call they tell me the flight is full and they sent me a cancellation notice 7/18/2022. I didn’t receive any emails from them, while on the phone with them they send me an email saying the my flight has been cancelled and I will receive a refund in 6 to 8 weeks! They took my money on 6/26/2022( the day I booked). How do we stop this from happening to other people. I’m not the only one that Airborntravler has done this too. You can google them and read about them. When I was looking for plan tickets I was directed to this site. It looks legit(see photos submitted).

BEWARE TOTAL SCAM! I booked my flight in March, my card was charged and I never to my etickets. Everytime I called I was told they would be sent in 24 hours. Long story short, I ended up buying another ticket not with them of course. I received a call from the refund department in April stating they were unable to book my flight and I would be receiving my refund in a couple of weeks. We are in July and after numerous call I still have not receive my refund. SCAM

I booked a vacation for my family using Airborntraveler and paid the extra cancelation fee just incase, and when I had to cancel due to my husbands work canceling his vacation, I was given the run-a-round for over a month. Book with a more reputable site. I was told I would see a refund in 72 hours, then 15 days, then 20 days and now 28 days. I think they are going to string me along until the day of the flight.

I booked a flight with cheap flights .com and received an email from airborntravellers.com with my so called flight information saying Congratulations Your flight is now booked. Called west jet to confirm my flight and my flight was blank. I called west jet again and it was still blank after several times calling the phone number I had from the booking of my flight. I heard an answering machine saying to leave my name and number and someone would get back to me. No one ever did. I called westjet again and the flight was still blank. I called the 1-888 number again and got a foreign voice from singapore when I asked him where I was calling to. I told him that West Jet did not have the flight for me that was booked by them, a third party agency I thought. As it turned out, this was a Scam. I was scamed by airborntravellers.com. I have no flight and out $690.00.
I am so mad that I was scamed by this cheapflight.com. Don't know what to do now or if I can afford another flight to Calgary from Hamilton Ontario on the same day I thought I was booked to fly out with West Jet. There is no such flight booked for me. So frustrated and so pissed off. Don' t ever trust this sight. they will scam you and you will have no flight booked.

Booked through google flights and was redirected to this booking agency. Received my confirmation and all seemed fine.

A week before I received an email saying I had to contact them within 24 hours due to changes with my flight or I would have my ticket cancelled and refunded.

Called 7 times before I was finally able to get ahold of an agent who told me my flight was cancelled and I would have to rebook a new flight with them for an additional $450. I booked with a separate airline and then called to cancel my ticket and get refunded.

Months later I have not been refunded and their emails back claim they do not have a booking with my email registered…

They suck…if I had this S.O.B. In front of me….oh boy oh boy!
It’s ok Jack though…your reward is waiting for you when you die and see The Lord….to Hell you go for eternity. Payback is so sweet!

I went to Google/ Airline tickets, selected Spirit Airlines and was linked to Airborntraveler.com. I selected a flight and was "booked" and charged on my credit card. The confirmation e-mail said, "Your e-ticket will be emailed shortly, once your credit card information verification has been completed." It never came. I phoned 7 days later and was told that flight was canceled and I could rebook on the new flight which was 10 minutes later and $86 dollars more. I gave "Paul" 3 different credit cards. He said each was rejected so I cancelled the flight and received an e-mail to that effect and that the money would be refunded.... I am still waiting 2 months later for the refund.

In checking my e-mail and credit card statement I saw that I was "booked" 3 times, twice on e-mail and once on my credit card, I was able to reverse the charge on the card but it is "disputed".

It appears the whole operation is a neat way to "borrow" money, interest free, until the charge is disputed. I don't understand how I was connected to Airborntraveler.com, I thought at the time it was an arm of Spirit. It would be nice if that was corrected so I would get who I intended to get connected to.

Thanks for the service, Jack

Purchased round trip tickets from San Antonio to Denver Co on April 13, 2022. Card was charged $331 for tickets and was told confirmation would be emailed in 24 hours. No confirmation or e tickets we ever emailed. Received an email a week before our flight saying our flight had been rescheduled for an earlier time. We called Frontier Airlines and was told a booking was made on April 13th but the tickets were not purchased and ticket now is $840…. Wth…. We called our credit card companies fraud department and filed a complaint against Airborntravelers. No refund was ever issued! BEWARE SCAMMERS! The individual speaks with an Indian dialect and will give you the run around but no refund will ever be issued.

Purchased a ticket through this company and never received a confirmation. Only received an email stating it was not a confirmation but a booking even though the monies were taken from the CC. The email stated the confirmation would be sent within 48 hours but it never came. The ticket was canceled. Now it's months after without a refund. Still in communication with them but to no avail.

Organizations like booking.com, airline companies, and other entities are now selling a person’s purchase to other booking agents, many of which are then scamming unsuspecting patrons out of money. Unfortunately, a person does not know this until the scam is completed and now have a charge on a credit card that the offending third party agent will not refund. Even though the tactics are fraudulent, the legion of lawyers hired by institutions like Commerce Bank will not fight the fraudulent activity stating that, for example, the airline tickets are non-refundable even though booking number has changed as additional charges are applied to the person’s credit card. In my situation, I even have an email from the offending company, Airborntraveler, stating that my $605.96 charge will be removed from my credit card. Airborntraveler refuses to remove the charge and hangs up on me when I call or transfers me to someone else who cuts me off. It is with great disappointment that I realize that Commerce Bank appears to support such fraudulent activity at the expense of a long time patron. Saying my airline tickets are non-refundable when my return flight purchase was fraudulently placed on two credit cards owned by someone who works for Airborntraeveler instead of my own Commerce Bank credit card provides evidence of illegal activity. Even though Commerce Bank says the tickets are non-refundable, Spirit airlines credited my account the additional cost of the outgoing flight that was placed on my Commerce Bank card. So now Airborntraveler and Spirit can resell my two seats for additional money while I am stuck with the original cost of the flight. Fraudulent activity continues as Bluepillow tried the same scam when I booked a B & B last week using booking.com.

Feb 18 Used Kayak to buy two airline tickets with Spirit Airlines

An email arrives saying that tickets have been booked with Airborntraveler for the price of $605.96 Booking number ABON618812 and that e-tickets would be sent electronically as soon as the credit card purchase was approved.

After calling to inquire about the e-tickets, the tickets still did not arrive even though the charge was on my credit card.

Feb 24 The third time Airborntraveler was called about not receiving the e-tickets, the agent stated that the price of the tickets had increased by $240.82. With hotel and rental car already purchased, I agreed to the price increase. The original booking number of ABON618812 was cancelled with no refund for the original cost of $605.96.

On the same day, the booking confirmation email was received with a new booking number of TRI784958 with a stated cost of $846.78.

Feb 25 e-tickets arrived electronically with a PNR No: TTOZDY and airline confirmation number of XKPHXA.

Feb 26 Spirit Airlines was contacted soon thereafter to verify the above information. The agent stated that I had been scammed and that the actual cost of those tickets when reissued on Feb 24 was only $482.36. When the agent heard that I was paying $846.78 for the same tickets, he said I needed to cancel the flight and that he would refund me the real amount of the tickets ($482.36). He then noticed that the flight from St Louis to Florida was charged to my Visa card for the amount of $214.18 but that the return tickets were charged to two different credit cards ( Discover card and a Visa card) owned by someone by the name of Neha Gulaty. The airline confirmation number on the Discover card was BN2CSR and the Visa card was XK267N.

My Visa credit card was credited $241.18 for the outgoing flight but there was no credit for the return flight since that flight was charged to someone else’s credit card. Spirit could not refund the money for the return flight since it was not on my credit card.

March 9 After calling contacting Airborntraveler several times to plead my case, the email was sent stating that “a refund request had been submitted for the amount of $605.96 to be refunded back to your original form of payment” and that it could take 14 business days (March29). The refund never occurred with my inquiries being ignored. That is when a dispute was lodged with Commerce Bank #113528.

Went to Frontier's website to arrange travel accommodations. Was not notified that the website was for a fraudulent website: airborntraveler.com.

I purchased two tickets departing on 6.23.22 and returning on 6.30.22 for a $1,153.64. I waited for the e-tickets to be emailed. E-Tickets never arrived. Called company last week to have them emailed again. Gentleman I spoke with confirmed my email and said he will resend. Email never arrived.

Called Frontier Airlines and the 'Flights' were fake.

I was notified by my bank of possible fraudulent activity taken place at a Chipotle in Illinois after this scam took place. Bank was able to dishonor the payment. Seeing how THIS site was a scam, now I know how they used my debit card in Illinois.

On April 11, 22 I Booked a first class flight from Seattle to Wilmington, NC for a 6/5/22 through 6/11/22 (on American Airlines through Airborntraveler) never received an E-ticket. Worried and wondering - went into email to check for the e-ticket that I was sure had arrived and I just didn't see it. Nope. What was there was this message dated 5/29/22 (Sunday):

"Dear Passenger, We regret to inform you that your booking has been canceled and amount had been refunded
The amount is already refunded in the original form of payment and you should have the funds in a maximum of 21 to 28 business days from now. We request you to kindly make an alternate travel arrangement We apologize for the inconvenience caused. Thanks and regards, Customer Service"

I called them first thing on May 31, 22 and spoke with an "Adwin" in customer service. He apologized - said that the ticket never was confirmed. I asked about rescheduling - he said that the price for that flight for first class had gone up to over $3000. (I was online looking at the American Airlines Website and I see that first class has gone up to $2200 from $1645 now for the same exact flight) but told "Adwin" that shouldn't matter because I booked on 4-11-22. He apologized but couldn't explain why my reservation didn't go through, (I paid it on my Alaskan Miles Credit Card, and then paid that amount back in full already) and he couldn't explain why my card was charged if there was no confirmed reservation. He seemed to think that the email on 5/29/22 was sufficient notification. I asked to speak to his supervisor. He said that he could pass along the message. I asked when the supervisor would call me back. He said within 4 hours. I'm still waiting and it's been 3 hours. I called my Alaska Card and disputed the charge. They said that wasn't satisfactory treatment. I had the option to report the charge as fraudulent however, that would necessitate issuing a new card and I needed the card to make NEW FREAKING RESERVATIONS!

Flying East to meet my new Grand-daughter and help out my Daughter whose a first time Mom and my Son-in-law is active duty navy corpsman @ Camp Lejeune. I wasn't paying attention when I booked through this place. I really thought that I was booking through American as Alaska doesn't fly into Wilmington NC.

This place is a complete scam :( they charged $1400 to my credit card and I never received an e-ticket for my flight. I ended up cancelling the same day, and got an email that they would put a request in for my refund….you guessed it..no refund. I’ve been calling them almost every day and they either don’t answer or hang up on you.

I booked online for flight advertised available seats on Caribbean Airlines for $1234 USD. Received confirmation email of bookings saying that I will receive my eticket shortly. 4 days later and no eticket so I contacted them. They then informed me that someone beat me to the available seats, yet they took the money from my credit card. They promised me that they will credit my account but 5 months later and I am still waiting for my credit

Purchase a ticket thru Spirit from Pittsburgh, PA to San Juan, Puerto Rico on April 8, 2022. Never received a confirmation email. Was confirming my flight information with family and noticed I only had a booking reference. I called customer service on May 10, one month before my flight and they claim there is no returning flight. Also claimed they had try to reach me but no answer but I didn't receive an email. Now waiting to see if I actually get my refund. Going to get the better business bureau involved.

No return phone calls from company and no e-tickets delivered bur charged to credit card.

They took $535.06 out of checking account, never purchased my ticket from 3/10/22
and never refunded my money. Keep telling me they are working on it. I'm sending
emails to Airborn Travelers weekly and the response is were working on you refund.
Now I'm in contact with Chase bank. I saved all of the emails and I have the confirmation that they sent, when they were suppose to have purchased my ticket.
