I did a reverse mortgage several months prior to receiving this "notice" in the mail. At first glance the notice looked like a check made to me had a clear window showing To the Order Of (My name all in CAPS) U.S. POSTAGE PAID PERMIT NO. 1535 UNITED STATES MAIL with an Eagle stars on each side of Eagle a circle with the words MAILED FROM ZIP CODE 33431 PRESORTED STANDARD on the left upper notice states all in Caps THIS NOTICE IS TIME SENSITIVE: SENT ON 9/5/2024 INFORMATION FOR THE MORTGAGEE ONLY IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED Lender Info: FEDERAL HOUSING COMMISSIONER

Opening the notice states Same words except in the middle is in large bold FINAL NOTICE Lender Info: FEDERAL HOUSING COMMISSIONER Call to verify the above information Read below for more information with Home Owner ID: (incorrect) Below this states ATTENTION: (My name in all Caps) This letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding the property at (my address) secured by your current lender which is FEDERAL HOUSING COMMISSIONER. (incorrect) We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. Please call IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 1-800-916-8689. On bottom of notice is Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 8AM TO 9PM CST, No Saturdays To speak to a Spanish agent call between 8am and 9pm CST, NO SATURDAYS Se Habla Espanol: 888-572-0611

THE LETTER REQUEST AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE, A FINAL NOTICE, REGARDING A LOAN OFFERED BY MIAMI DADE COUNTY TO ALL COUNTY RESIDENTS TO HELP ALLEVIATE THE LARGE ASSESSEMENTS FOR REPAIRS IMPOSED BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA. SEVERAL UNIT OWNERS OF MY BUILDING WERE APPROVED AND WE ALL GOT THE LOAN AFTER SIGNING AN AGREEEMENT WITH THE COUNTY. THE LETTER STATES THAT THERE IS AN IMPORTANTE MATTER REGARDING THESE LOANS AND NEED TO CONTACTED IMMEDIATELY THRU (800)260-1594.

THE LETTER COMES WITH AN ALLOCATED WAIVER IN THE AMOUNT OF $199.00. I AM VERY CONCERNED OTHER OLDER RESIDENTS IN MY BUILDING TOBE FOOLED BY THIS LETTER. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

Moved addresses, and within a short time recieved letter at my new address for my old address which i still own. This letter has no company name but just states i need to contact them immediatley for a $199 waiver. It does not disclose what this is for but research shows this is for mortgage insurance scams. the letter came from the Zipcode 33431, Permit No. 1535. It is unknown how my new address has already been leaked to these companies as it is not a public record.

Vaguely worded "notice" received in USPS mail that references my (publicly available) mortgage company and street address.

The sending company is not referenced anywhere but my mortgage company's name is shown in several places, as if it's from them.

There is a simulated check for $199. "to the order of", without the word "pay" visible in window before opening.

Whole thing is designed to get a person to call 1-800-916-8689.

Received a “final notice” from unknown company with an unknown address indicating from the post mark that it was mailed from zip 33431. It has an Allocated Waiver of $199 with a signature line attached with my mortgage lender information indicated and my address. At the bottom of the waiver it says not all consumers have previous coverage. Not affiliated with (mortgage lender) and This Is Not A Check. The notice says they “reserve the right to revoke the allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice.” and want me to call immediately at 18009168689 as this will be their final attempt to notify me. There’s a home owner ID that they have attached to the FINAL NOTICE.

Received check in the mail, the letter attached says immediate response requested. Final Notice: the name of my Lender, a home owner ID. The body of the letter says: This letter is to inform you about an important matter regarding the property at (my address) secured by your current lender which is (my lender's name). We reserve the right to revoke allocated waiver after 7 days of receiving this notice. Please Call IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 1-800-916-8689. Hours of operation: Mon-Friday 8am to 9pm CST, No Saturdays.

No where is there a company name or address. I looked up the zip code on the postage that says "mailed from Zip Code 33431" to find that is Boca Raton, Florida zip code.
