I was contacted by Beverly Kreider claiming to be a hiring manager from Alimirral. Everything was professional however after answering several questions she got to the part of telling me that they will send a check for me to deposit to buy equipment along with asking what my banking limits were. It didn’t sound right to me so I asked if I can call to discuss only to be told that out conversation will only be conducted via signal due to protocol. I’m nervous because my name address and phone number are out there

From a Google search of Philona Hopkins' name, this job offer appears to be a scam. Instead of Cintas, they used Almirall, which is a Spanish pharmaceutical company as their front. I only began to suspect something was up when they wanted me to deposit a check into my account from a hardwood flooring company to supposedly pay for my office equipment. I'm angry and disappointed that this whole thing was a scam, but I'm hoping no one else falls for it. The names associated with the scam are as follows: Beverly Kreider, Philona Hopkins and Mauro Michielin.

I was contacted as well I answered everything until I got to the same thing about the check. Now I’m worried because she has my name. What did you do? Any advice?

I was asked a series of questions through telegram messaging app. They told me I would be meeting with a representative to sign docs to go onboard, I asked who I would be meeting with and they said they will let me know when the time is right. Did not find job on LinkedIn or other apps

Paul Hudson Hiring Manager - I rec'd a text from Brandon Calvert Cell #(219)255-3764
INSTRUCTED TO DOWNLOAD SIGNAL App > asked alot of questions and offered the position within minutes. Then asked if I had a mobile banking app. What is your mobile deposit limit? once done, funds will be made available instantly. told me that an Apple Macbook,iphone and equipment were going to be shipped to me and I would receive a physical check by FedEx the next day. Use the money to pay for the equipment. I replied I will not be paying anything.

The company name is Almirall S.A. They were looking to hire immediately and Mr. Allen G. Davis says the pay rate is 35.89.

This person claimed to be Joshua Huffman from Amirall SA and they were reaching out on behalf of their hiring team for a remote position that paid $35.89. There were 3 positions available: Customer Service Rep, Data Entry, or Administrative Assistant. They said because it was an immediate hire, the interview would be online over Skype. They mentioned the hiring manager's name was Jessica Batts and she would give me more information on the job position and company. He then asked if I had Skype downloaded on my phone or laptop. I then cut off communications with this person because it seemed too good to be true and I could not find these job positions on Indeed, LinkedIn, or the company's website. After a little research, the jobs offered are the ones used in scams most often and I did not want to risk it.
