Tried to activate PRIME on Sony TV.
Looks like ligit website to enter the code given.
Then a WEB based notice (from pobwebsolutions.com) sends a "Code Redeemed" message "Call This Number to Verify and Activate": 315-465-0064.
Sounds like India based call center.
Offer 3 years or 1 year rate.
30% saving on 3 year.
They know your full name, address, email and last 4 of CC.
Ask for full accont number and Security code.
Get nervous if you start asking questions.
Hang up when you ask about receipt.
Invoice as Prime Digital HTTPS Magzenti DE.
CC canceled as FRAUD and sent replacement cards.
Reported to Amazon on their "Report SuspiciuousActivity" website.
Interesting the Scammers were able to deactivate my exisitng PRIME on ROKU.
This was trying to add to SONY TV app.
Now my ROKU Prime App still doesn't work, but works on the SONY TV.

My first attempt to have my bank credit my account for the $149.00 AMZ Digimart Scammed me out of failed. The [censored] showed my bank a copy of a letter that they said I signed approving the payment I made to them as a legit charge to have Amazon Prime re-connected to my new smart tv. I disputed that I ever signed this phony letter and forwarded all of the other 23 complaints on this site to my bank. After reviewing all of the similar complaints concerning the AMZ Digimart scams, this was my bank's final determination...

Amazon-DigiMart is a scam outfit. They will steal your money. Stay away from this scam outfit. I WILL DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE ON MY OWN, AND THEY ARE GOING TO BE VERY SORRY THEY SCAMMED ME!

Amazon had rigged my account so that I couldn't get amazon on my Samsung TV, I had to call a 1-800 number to get it working again. While on the phone I was offered a two-, three- or five-year discount for Amazon prime, "Only $300 for five years", and that my account would be credited in September for the difference. Found out when Amazon billed me for $150 in September, that it had all been a scam. I disputed this with Amazon, and basically, they're response was, too bad sucker, you’re paying the bill. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and filing a lawsuit.

This looks like a pattern with Amazon and DigiMart. I believe that only way to stop them is to form a class action lawsuit. As I see here, on this site, there have been many others who have been scammed, as well. This may only be the tip of the iceberg, there may be thousands of Amazon customers that have been scammed in this very same way. Please reply to this post, and self reply, so that those who have been scammed can start getting organized.

They blocked my Amazon prime that was linked to my TV and I needed to call a number to get resolved. They said they are improving the security with the prime members and offered two years membership. Everything sounds so legit so I paid $129 for two years membership to find out later that they are scamper and I was robbed

We were also scammed. $180. Promised PRIME in the U.S. and a credit on the Canadian account. It's all bull.
Reported to my credit card company - hopefully there is a refund coming.

Bought a new tv tried to sign on to prime video said i had to pay 129.99 once a year for prime that was everything included. Called Amazon no such thing from them. They was not very helpful. I want my money back or someone to get in trouble for this. They won't stop doing these scams if there is no consequences. I work hard for my money as I'm sure every body with a story on here does. You would think Amazon would do something about it since its impersonating them.

This is why I truly beleive Amazon is part of the scam. I tried to get my money back from Amazon, but they had the gall to tell me that the charge was legitimate. This was a scam, and they know it. We must punish Amazon! We must sue them. CLASS ACTION!

When resetting my Samsung smart tv account received message that Amazon Prime tv account needed to be contacted and a toll free number was listed. I contacted the number received assistance resetting the streaming service to my tv. The person also told me that Amazon was offering a discounted membership for 299.99 for multiple year membership. When varifying personal information the person offered information I was sure was only availabe from my Amazon profile. I was sent documents by my phone to esign with Hellosign app. All of this process seemed legitimate. I now find out that my Amazon membership was not renewed as promised because this was not an Amazon promotion but a scam by Digimart.

We MUST DESTROY them, that is the only way, so they will never be able to do this to anyone again. I will listen to any, and all, who wish to help me in facilitating their total destruction.

Thank you for posting this. I backed out before I signed and my $209.99 was refunded within a few minutes.

1-709-749-1133. I got concerned when he said it would show on my bank statement as “Prme Digital. Then I had to sign thru Digimart via Email. I believe that it was a scam because I read your posting

Same as everyone else. We bought a brand new tv and was text while setting up the new tv that our prime membership has expired.
My wife paid the $329 for a new 5 year membership but then they send us and email that we had to sign from digimart. At this point my wife’s intuition told her something was wrong since the payment went out from chase. We stopped talking to them and called chase bank immediately. The fake number we called was 424 231-8235

Basically, my story is the same as others I've read on this site. I was trying to set up Prime streaming on a new tv and got a notice on the TV with a code to log in with. I used the code but then got an error message and had to call in. I was then told I needed to renew my Amazon prime subscription in order to get the service on my tv. I told them to use my CC on file with Amazon - my Amazon credit card and was told that they were having problems with Amazon card and they couldn't use that. So I gave them another card and was charged $169. Now, I'm trying to get my money back from my CC company but they got a letter from DigiMart that I had agreed it was non-refundable. This is such a scam!

AMZ DIGIMART deals for amazon prime video renewals are a total scam! In the other hand, what is more pathetic, is the fact, that amazon! fully aware of the ongoing scam offers no help to its loyal customers
Sorry for my not so nice qualifications, but Mr. Sleepy-Droopy-Crazy eyes Bezos, please, take better care of your pigsty, called amazon. If this is the way to get that rich, you are a sorry man!

The same thing happened to me on August 27, 202I. I was trying to log on to Amazon Prime video when I got a message on the screen asking me to write down a code and call a number in order to "re-activate" my account. While I waited on the phone I was offered a deal available only to certain Amazon Prime clients: three years of Prime for $199. Sounded good and legit so I proceeded to let myself be reeled in and handed out more information than what I should have, including my credit card which they needed to have on file to verify my identify and membership status, but I would not be charged until next April. After I hung up I got suspicious and checked my credit card. Sure enough, they had already charged me. I had to cancel the card, change Amazon password and now I have to figure out if I can get my money back. How did they ever manage to get a phony message to appear on my TV screen? And how did they get my email address? We exchanged several messages and another code was sent to my TV and my phone. Lots of back and forth with emails ( including one in which I signed electronically for the non-existent deal). I was told I needed to change my Amazon password and use my phone number temporarily but I could change it again anytime I wanted. Shortly after I hung up I got suspicious and Googled the name of the company. I then checked my credit card and of course the charge had already been made. I have to hand it to them, they are very good!

The same thing happened to me, out $300. Must stop this scam. Amazon is involved.

On 23 August 2021, while vacationing away from home, I tried to log onto my Amazon Prime Video with the new TV using amazon.com/mytv so I get a new code to activate my subscription. After this did not work, I got a text stating to call this 1(888)296-6926 number because my Amazon Prime membership expired. I called and got on the phone with some guy who sounded Indian. The person told me instead of paying the usual $119.99 annual fee, I can pay a one-time fee of $250 for life and never had to pay for Amazon again. Thinking, stupidly, that this is a great deal, I approved the charge. He then asked for my credit card number. I told him to use the one on the Amazon account. He insisted since this is a one-time forever deal, I have to spell out my credit card #. Feeling strange about this, I hasitantly gave my debit card information. Almost a week later, today, I decided to call Amazon to confirm the lifetime membership deal and they pretty much laughted and told me to call my bank. This was CLEVER by the scammers and very STUPID by me.

My wife and I were taking care of our 4 grand kids watching a movie when it stopped, a phone number popped up on the screen. So not to disappoint the kids I called them to continue the movie. The person on the other line explained that to view the movie we need to renew our membership. It was all very sketchy but sounded like a Amazon Prime subscription. By the time we were done I had gone from a 2 year plan to a 5 year plan for just $329.29. We spoke for some 15 or 20 minutes while all the confirmation process continued. He explained it would take a little while for all the paper work to process for the program to continue. We never got anything for this but we were sold a 5 year Amazon Prime Membership. The process was very seemed professional but again sketchy. I never received a single email mail confirming my membership or what I paid for except a charge to the Credit card. When we saw the credit card charge I tried to call the phone number I looked up on google, what a waste of time, left message no one ever called back. I then called Amazon (that was difficult) they have no such membership. I have no idea how a number can just appear on a TV. Again I have absolutely nothing to show for the $329.99 charge on the CC.

On Aug 9, 2021, late evening, while attempting to access Amazon Prime Video on my smart TV, I see a request to login/verify my account. Since this was a 2nd TV and one I had not previously used to access Prime, and because I had followed such a procedure before, I went to the proffered website (I did not record that site address, but it appeared to be related to Amazon) to obtain a code, which was texted to my phone. I plugged in the code, and then I'm told to renew my account by calling a number (it was either the 254-221-1067 above or 424-235-1213), which I did. There I was told that Amazon was instituting a different renewal procedure for prime, and after asking a number of questions, I opted for a 2-yr contract renewal for $140. I was suspicious, but I OKed the purchase, against my better judgement, thinking that it must be Amazon--how else could they interfere with my TV login? It was late--no excuse--and I wanted to watch a prime movie so I went ahead with the purchase. At that point I was also told something about monthly payments at some future date, which made it sound like after the next renewal. All of this bothered me, and the next day I checked with Amazon. Neither the company nor the telephone numbers were Amazon, and particularly galling was Amazon's lack of concern that somehow my Amazon login could be interfered with. In any case, I called my credit card company (Amex), and they canceled the card, but they wouldn't refund the amount of the charge since I had approved the purchase when they sent a text to me the night before asking if this was valid. Stupid me.

I'm still upset that they could contact me thru my cable subscription when I tried to access Amazon. And that after I paid, my Amazon login was complete.

I also tried calling the above numbers a couple of days later. I left a message at one number--no one has called me back. At the other, I had a few moments to begin my inquiry before the call was terminated.

This is a total scam. You need to be wary of any offer like this. Be patient. Check with Amazon before proceeding (which admittedly is difficult--Amazon's website does not make it easy to make contact via phone).

The company identified themselves as Amazon Canada. I phone tas I was having trouble signing into myAmazon Prime Video account. He said the way Amazon does business has changed and they no longer had monthly payments available. He offered a 2 or 5 year membership. He was able to manipulate the sign in so it worked. Amazon Canada didn't seem concerned about someone using their name.

On 5/10/21, I paid 249.99 for a 3 yr renewal to amazon prime. On 6:01/21, my card was charged again for 199.99 for I Don’t know what. I got an email from Amazon saying my prime membership would be due on 6/20/21. This is a scam and I need the money to be refunded. I can’t afford these charges. This happened when I was trying to tune into amazon tv and was told my membership expired and needed to renew to get a code to tune into prime video.

Beware SCAM when I tuned into the Amazon Prime TV App, I received a message that I needed to enter a Code. I entered the code on my computer and then a request to call the telephone number which I did. I was informed that my Amazon Prime Membership had expired. However, membership expiration shows Sept. 2021 on my Amazon account. No matter, I was told it expired and was offered three deals. 1yr.$119, 3yrs $169.00 and 5yrs.$199. I chose the 3 year plan Gave my credit card and added my signature to a docusign document. I called Amazaon customer service and was told that my subscription DID NOT EXPIRE. I called my credit card customer service and requested the charge be stopped. Not sure if that will work. I called the telephone number that was given to me by AMZ DIGIMART and told them that I have reported them to the FTC and Attorney General. I was told by Kevin that the charge would be removed? I am waiting for that to happen. Don't fall into this trap. Call Amazon Customer Service to check on your subscription and expiration date. What a misrepresentation and Scam.
