We saw an ad for customized quilts on Facebook. Placed an order in early December and funds were immediately taken out of my checking account.

Received a confirmation and a follow up email on December 12 indicating my custom quilt was ready and would shipped soon.

Followed up today to check on my quilt. Have learned from various sources Facebook, google, a reporter who wrote a story about this company and have quickly learned that this is a scam company.

The emails have enough information to look legit but as I look back there is no confirmation number and the amount that I spend was not on any of my confirmations. This company preyed on the fact that we are all busy during the holidays and took advantage of the fact that I might not be as careful as I should have been.

I ordered 2 quilts on 11/20. I had to email to get a shipping notice on 12/7. I was then given DHL tracking, which appeared to be legit. It showed a few stops along the way, but nothing has changed since 12/15. Post office is still awaiting delivery. I have gone back at them through Paypal for a refund. Such a load of crap. I hope you are caught and strung up by your private parts you pieces of garbage!

I was informed of the website/saw the site on Facebook by my mother, who was interested in a quilt. I wanted to get it for her for Christmas. I ordered it on 11/26/18. I got an email confirming my order, along with all of my information (including address, amount paid (through PayPal), etc.) I have gotten 9-10 other emails from "Amelia Quilt" since then. On 12/10/18 I got an email stating that my quilt was ready for shipping and that she would send me an email with the tracking number from DHL when they shipped it out. It is 12/22/18. I STILL have not received an email with a tracking number. I decided to go online to find a phone number to reach them about it and question it. When I put Amelia Quilt in online, the top two trending pages were talking about Amelia Quilts being a scam!!!!!!!!! Now it says that the site is not available/the shop is unavailable. I called my bank and had to have my debit card deactivated and have to get a new one. I also need to file a dispute questionaire. I hope that they are able to give me my credit back, because this is ridiculous!!!!!!!! When I was talking to the bank (customer support), she had said that she had personally heard of the Amelia Quilt being a scam! I am so upset. I really wanted my mom to have this nice quilt. Do NOT "buy" from Amelia Quilt!!! It isn't real!

I ordered a softball quilt on December 2, 2018 for $64.90. I received a confirmation email and then several emails containing coupons for future purchases. I then received another email on December 12 stating that my quilt was ready just waiting to be shipped. I have not received anything else and when I go to the website it says they are temporarily closed in order for them to fulfill previous orders in time for Christmas.

Ordered 2 Queen size quilts back on November 27th, recieved a email on Dec, 8 th stating my quilts were ready for shipping and I would receive an email stating when shipped. I sent a email to them on Dec. 18 th asking if I was going to get them by Christmas. Recieved an email back on the same day stated my order had been sent out for production when I had a email stating on the 8th it was complete and ready for shipping,, after reading other reviews, I do believe I have been scammed, also.

Saw an ad for a motorcycle quilt on Facebook for 59.99 . Seemed legit. Placed order beginning of Nov. got an invoice number/ receipt in an email. They said it would take a week to make the quilt and 7-10 days to ship. After this time had passed I emailed company 3 times asking where my order is. Finally got a tracking number in response email. Tracked it to DHL, said it was in transit which it has remained since Dec7. So I googled Amelia quilts and saw that it was a scam. Luckily I used PayPal. I called them today and I’ll be getting a refund and a new account. It was supposed to be a Christmas present ??!so much for that!

Facebook ad showing amazing handmade quilts for sale. Purchased one on 12-03-18 through PayPal for $64.90. Got a confirmation of payment email and on 12-10-18 confirmation of quilt finished and getting ready for shipment. On 12-17-18 I went to their website ameliaquilt.com and it was temorarily closed for processing orders. That raised my suspicions then so I started searching and found they were under investigation. Filed complaint with FTC.gov now here and next paypal.

I purchased 3 quilts from Amelia Quilts. On December 10, I received an email informing me they were ready and were just waiting for the carrier to pick them up. On December 22, I still had not heard anything so I emailed and received a notice back they were busy distributing all orders for Christmas and the company was closed so they could finish. I went to the website and the website was gone completely. I’m out 3 Christmas gifts and $150.00. They say business hours are 8-5 Monday-Friday but don’t give a phone number.
