My son was contacted by someone who said he was Thomas Weston and offered remote job as a recruiter with Centuria. his email address ended in @recruiter-centuria.com. After providing an online test of the computer skills needed a work contract was sent and then $4900+ check was sent to purchase equipment at that point my son contacted me and we prevented him from going any further. Be aware of this number.

Hello People, that same scenario happened to me, but the company was Takeda, be careful with this email [email protected], the red flag to me was when he mention that he will be sending me the check to buy the equipment I need to start to work. and he used this same # to communicate to me.

Unfortunately, this person is still at it as of 01/24/2024.I was contacted by someone who said he was David Williams and offered me a remote job as a IT Security Specialist with Zen Strategics. His email address was [email protected]. After having me fill out a questionnaire in lieu of a phone interview or zoom meeting a 12 page offer letter was sent and, once I signed that and sent it back, then $4900+ check was sent to purchase equipment. I actually deposited the check and it was only the next day when he started talking about me checking to see what the limit for sending with Zelle was from within my credit union's app that I was finally convinced enough to call bull [censored]e. Be aware of this number.

The scammer did the same with me but the company the scammers used is HealthMark Group. They also offered me a job, and sent me a check for $4900 to buy computer equipment from their Vendors. The scammer used the same phone number (516) 988-1749.

- Salem, AL, USA

They offered me a job, and said that equipment would be provided. Then sent me a check to send to their Vendor to receive the items. Then they sent another check for the same amount. I questioned them about that.

This one was quite sophisticated, at first. I had legitimately applied for positions WITH AA just a day or two prior so at first I went along with it to see what would happen. After getting in touch with the hand off person, I realized that it's the same as many of the other job scams that I've encountered trying to find a legit job.
