Offered to buy my timeshare for cash. Downpayment of $7000. and $6500. from the sale of the timeshare for the purchase price of $25,000. Telling me it will take up to 3 weeks for me to get a user name password to access the website. Offered to pay my maintenance fees on another timeshare I have to entice me to sell it to them.

On vacation in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico, we saw a new Mercedes, and began talking to a man who acted like it was his car. He invited us to a timeshare seminar, held in a hotel called Diamond Villa or Diamond Bay, by Atlas VIP Group Service ([email protected]). We thought we were signing up for something not quite a timeshare but a point system; for the next 10 or 20 years, points accumulate towards flights and accomodations in Mexico. For sitting through the presentation, we got two certificates issued by AVG good for one week vacation in a hotel at any of the hotels in their group. The agreeement says "AVG". The certificate reads for service call 888-396-6901. They took our credit cards saying they wanted to run our credit, and our passports. They came back and said our credit cards were not approved. I showed them on my phone my credit rating. I told them I didn't have any money on my credit card and I wouldn't pay them. A lady, who was very nice, and did not look Mexican, took my wife outside the room. She told my wife she wanted to see if there was any money on our credit cards. She took my wife to her car which had car seats in the back, it was a small car. I knew she was taking her away in a car, but I felt she would be safe with her because she was so nice. She drove her to Sears Dept store. Five other people appeared out of nowhere and took 7 cell phones and 3 TVs to the register and pressured my wife into charging them to her Discover card for $7500. The lady said she would give the TVs and phones to charity for a write off so we can get a down payment for the timeshare. The lady took pictures of the receipts with her phone. We called Discover who said they are opening an investigation. Since we have returned home, they are calling and asking us to wire $2000 through Western Union to Liliana Paola Vazquez Aguiluz, Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico. SaveonResorts.com is involved also. They contract with AVG to sell the program for them. My wife has additonal contact info for the lady. They also tried to take money from our Huntington Bank account, the names they are using are a meat packing plant in Mazatlan and a casino.
