A customer is using the BBB mediation dept(allegedly) to justify keeping supplemental property claim increase of 8,500.00 aprox. I bent over backwards, sent my trades to complete all work on estimate proportioned by their insurance company. She deliberately holds balance amount owed to my company and uses imposter call at 3:02pm stating shes the BBB mediation dept. I hung up, returned call to be met with answer service. She wanted to scare me with BS call and accept her offer. I just want the BBB to know whats up people sleeve.

website was used in a Mcafee refund scam, fake form was (attempted) to use impersonating Better Business Bureau to gather banking information and scam people.

Received email below, after searching the ScamPulse.com website it seems others have been targeted by this same email also and found to be scam.

On Saturday, July 6, a man named John Deutsch of the Ambridge/Freedom/Pensfield, PA area sent harassing and intimidating messages out of nowhere via Facebook Messenger identifying himself as a ScamPulse.com employee. It was confirmed this morning that Mr. Deutsch is not an employee of the ScamPulse.com and is impersonating a ScamPulse.com employee to intimidate other possible businesses who may be in the same line of work. He messaged me asking what the name of my business was, but we do not own a business. He states he was reporting us to the ScamPulse.com despite not having a business. My concern is that he is threatening others via Facebook under the guise that he works for the BBB.

Victim received the following email: Subject - Dissatisfaction of Service Letter (Client Complaint); A few clients have complained about your poor service and their complains have been taken up, and taken seriously. We have attached copies of their letters and their proof, including their poorly done tax forms. This document is confidential, to open it, right click and extract it, take note that the password to the file is 8943 - Attachment: https://github.com/user-attachments/files/15523003/Tax.Fraud.Dissatisfaction.Rep...⇄ - You have been officially served an invitation to the panel of inquiry.

Above is exact email - including mis-spelling and punctuation errors - the download of the attachment was block by google as dangerous.

Received an email saying I had a customer complaint. I work for a local govt agency and this was sent to that email. I did not open any further because complaints shouldn’t be coming directly to me from ScamPulse.com so I figured it had to be a scam, so unfortunately I don’t have more info.

I received several calls today from different numbers all telling me that someone was trying to open a credit card in my name from Michigan, I live in PA. And saying they were calling from the better Business Bureau. They kept trying to get my credit card numbers and I refused but they called 12 times today

A man who spoke poor English called me by name to tell me he was from the Better Business Bureau and they had discovered a check had been written or cashed (I didn’t understand completely as his English was not good). I needed to be aware because the money I was paid would cost me. As I asked questions he kept going back to the check being scrubbed. What he needed was my information. I thanked him and said I would call my bank and hung up. He called back to tell me my bank was not on the check, which is why they needed my information. That’s when I asked to speak to his supervisor. He said ok and there was a pause. When he came back, I asked for his name and then he hung up.

Got a call from someone saying they are the BBB.com saying I won 9 million dollars. Know the BBB.com does not call people for that so hung up

The man called me five times yesterday and seven times this morning. I could tell very easily by his message that he was a scammer saying congratulations congratulations your paperwork has been accepted congratulations again please call me my name is Monroe. Each message was about the same. Except for the last 2, he sounded like he was getting mad. I don't know if he has any of my personal information. I was scammed back in June 2023 and had fraud on my checking account The number wants me to call is

The scammer called me on the phone and had the last four digits of my Social Security number, and said I was not supposed to be paying any more than 2.9% interest on my credit cards and that they would negotiate all of my credit card debt for me to lower the interest rates.

Received call from the 229-447-4421 MANY times, so many that they are harassing me now saying they are the Better Business Bureau Card Services Dept and a card is attempting to be opened in Michigan. They kept asking for my social security number constantly to the point of harassing me. They mentioned Chase credit cards which concerned me because I have a Chase account and let them know of the call I received. When I would not give my personal information they would call back incessantly saying they are the BBB. Will call my phone company to block the number and notify the FTC
