My mom got a text that she had been chosen by a powerball winner to be given 50k. They sent her a fake check and had her "pre pay" the taxes on the money for $1650 via money order into a Bank of America account. Since she's not a BofA customer, Bank of America will not do anything and she's out the money. We have filed a police report and a claim with FTC and Adult Protective Services. If you have anymore info, we appreciate your help.
