Scam alert
Mona Griffith scammer

+1
• Aug 15, 2024

Basically the same as above, but would have stuck me with a $2000 dollar phone bill in my name. Was from Mona Griffith, but the company was Builtin LLC.
She called me brainwashed for listening to the fraud experts at Verizon.

I received this text message out of nowhere and thought it was wild. I was only texted a photo of this message from some random number +1 (205) 974-3249

This crazy how people are doing this. When people are actually needing jobs Gary Fox contacted me with the name David Tudor. Offering 41 dollars an hour.

I had gotten a “job offer” for 35 dollars per hour for Cintas. First it seemed off because they were doing an interview over text. (Teams to be exact) they had me answer a bunch of interview questions. They had me wait 5-10 minutes to “get an approval from the higher ups” to look at my questions and soon enough they said I had a 91% consideration rate and asked me what payroll I preferred (weekly or biweekly) and how I would like to receive my paychecks (direct deposit etc.) I then said direct deposit and they asked me what bank I used and I said I didn’t have one. They then proceed to let me know what I would be receiving to work from home as far as technology and a set up and after I sent my personal info they say they were going to send a check to pay for the equipment. They then had me go to the ID.me website to verify my identity (not to mention the email had nothing to do with mine, way different name and last name email) I asked why and they said because they made one up) (they don’t do that) anyway, they then had me send two different verifications plus a face recognition portion for the site. When everything seemed like it was wrapping everything up and when I thought it was over. A couple minutes go by and next thing you know they are asking me what mobile carrier I used and tried to get me to send my phone billing information because “the company will handle all monthly bills” after I said I don’t have this info they told me it was fine and to follow up at 8:00am to have a further update for the things that was purchased. This whole conversation started at 1:07pm-4:20pm. An hr goes by and I ask what their office number was and they left me on seen so I proceeded to do what they did to me when I didn’t answer in that second (“hello”) later on I checked the message that led me to this point and proceeded to look up the number that was used and turned out to be a scam number. We reported the issue to authorities and locked my ssn. Now that I am tying all of this out I should have known from the jump! Please be careful with ID.me nowadays.

How did you locked your SSN?

Her name is Mrs asika promise, she claims she works with high commission of Canada in Abuja as a consular, we have paid #400,000 to her and requesting for almost #700,000 to be paid claiming that is for LMIA which is the person that is employing me that is meant to pay for it

I faced the same today but just dint give any my personal info without any proper interview she said I am recruited. I told I can't give my address but shared email and phone number and said I have no account that I can share . The. I asked her to send the offer letter via email and not a phone chat. Now I know it's a fake call..after reading all these experiences. Thabkyou all for the posts. And the rest all the same .

These people are doing damage to the work from home community. People are really out here trying to find employment. Stop this because people like myself are taking this seriously and when you go and buy this stuff that takes money away from a sometimes already bad situation.

Hello, I just had the same exact scenario & questions via the Skype chat, and asking about interview or video with an actual person and the response was no, like that I was just hired so I responded no thank you this is a scam & the reply was simply okay.

No thanks via to text job offer, no call or email.

I was contacted via text by a Lisa Mayfield from CINTAS Corporation saying my posted resume had been reviewed. No mention from job website. She then said I was qualified for a Data Entry/Administrative Assistant job and the pay was $30/hr.
I’m thinking, “too good to be true, but I’ll see what this is about”.
Responding “yes I’m interested”, she said I was required to contact a Gary Fox via Skype. Seeing how I didn’t have Skype, I had to download and add him.
After connecting with him, he asked me a series of questions such as: address, email, full name, phone number and which bank I use so they can look up to see if legit bank. After he suggested the check to buy the programs I needed (which seemed to be more price then the check was going to give me), I told him I live like 7 miles from a CINTAS location. So he said they could send it to that location. I went to give them the location, and he knew the location.
So he told me if selected to get hired, I would need to do certain things and could I be available to Skype PROMPTLY at 8A tomorrow. I said “I will”. After signing off, I tried to do research on the number they texted from and nothing. So I searched “CINTAS scams” and found this website. After reading these responses, it sounded similar to my experience and realized it IS a scam!🤦🏼‍♀️ Thank you all for saving me. I blocked the number and deleted Skype.

I received a text message first, about a data entry job at home. Then I was told to download telegram for an interview. The interviewer asked a bunch of questions, then told me I was hired. They were sending me a check for the equipment I needed, after I told him I had equipment already. The company I was to work for was cintas. Sounded too good to be true, so before the 2nd interview, I checked on here, only to find out it is a scam. So I voided out the huge check they sent and deleted and blocked them, from contacting me. Thanks to ScamPulse.com for the accurate info and saving me from being scammed.

I have received the same text, worded almost exactly the same except they changed the company name from Cintas to GNM Healthcare Consulting Group, LLC. If it wasn't for mentioning that they found my application on Indeed, I would've instantly ignored the text and easily assumed it was another scam...BUT because I am in fact actively looking for a job and have been making submissions on Indeed, I thought it might be legit. So I went to log on my Indeed account and searched for the job posting that I may have applied for this company, and it turns out this company is not even one of those jobs I submitted an application for. Next thing I did was search Google for the phone number and here's where I came across this forum. It's so disgusting how this people make a living and feed their family from illicit and stolen money from other people.
Same phone number 415-744-1943, different company name represented

This company sent me job I thought I got spamming people using different names & pay rate I thought this was real company but I knew something was fishy they stop responding when I asked for offer letter make sure job was secured that’s when things got weird I regret doing this thank god I looked on internet saw that this has been happening to other people!

Justin Franklin is back with Jessica first reaching out from a 323 number. i asked for the same Offer Letter and have not gotten it, " we are woking on them, it takes process " who answers like that. ""in the mean time, provide me with your name, state, city, address, zip code and cell #""

I literally had this happen today! I was contacted a few weeks ago by a different company, almost the same exact thing! Except last time I put my two weeks in! Luckily, all of it unraveled in A few days and was able to stay at my job! Even sent a check! That they returned but they got no money from me! That company was Offshore Business Processing? The legit company is Offshore Business Processing Industries!

Hope no one gets scammed by this
That doesn’t even sound like a real name….

Received a text message at 1:39am from a so called “Peggy Delania” from Cintas Company to be paid $32/hr. as a CSR/Data Entry clerk. Asked me to sign up for an “interview” via a Telegram link that I did not open. Phone number is showing (415) 744-1943. Looked up this phone number that confirmed my suspicions of this being a scam. Not sure why Indeed has allowed them to post on their site. I will report it as well. Please be careful, do not be fooled. I have blocked the number.

I received a text message from 415-744-1943 stating they had received my information from Indeed and that they were ready to hire me as customer service rep for 32$hr, which is what caught my eye. That is too high rate of pay for the position. They the asked that I downoad telegram if I didn't already have it and send message to the ID in the screenshot posted and to use a code they gave me. I didn't click on the website Id for telegram ! I replied to them giving my opinion (be ware there are words that are not appropriate for children)! And then blocked them, came straight here and reported it!

I received a text from Christie stating that Cinta's wanted to interview be and to download the app telegram. My code would be ABC12P. Once downloaded, to added Jacob Williams as the HR contact. I was then informed to go to Cinta's website and read on it. Then i was told the pay rate and what the job would be. They wanted to know what bank i banked with and if i wanted to be paid weekly or bi-weekly. This is crazy.

I was contacted by Sarah Hines by e-mail this morning then did a questionnaire you could say with Lisa Valdes she said she was with mathworks. After she said I got the job I felt suspicious so I did some research and the company does not conduct interviews the way those two did.

I received this yesterday via email and telegram from Career builder and indeed. I feel betrayed and much more paranoid of my surroundings. I just wanted a high paying job this winter without relying on family..or my father. But now what do i have to show for it? A blocked bank account. This sickening person in my messages telling me this “isn’t a scam” the check is “Legit” talk to your bank! The 3,989.99 dollar check is real and much more not a scam. They just have my email and my address. What do I do now? Is every job like this? Is every corner packed with wolves in sheeps clothing. No wonder no one wants to work if this is what’s waiting for them. I hate it here.
