After weeks of applying for jobs and trying to get off unemployement after being laid off for COVID I tried to see if this was an actual offer. The "Interview Manager" gave an actually company website but when I called to company to confirm prior to giving information they informed me they did not have any affiliation with these people. They are taking advantage of desperate people trying to provide for themselves and family.

Applied for customer service rep position with Cintas through Indeed.com. Was contacted by Tina via text to download Hangouts app and speak to Julie Cruz for interview. Spoke with [email protected]. Was asked basic interview questions (ex: strengths, why am I good person for job, etc) was told I’d be receiving check to purchase supplies needed for job and to report back to app tomorrow morning at 8am to speak to training supervisor. If I do receive a check I will be shredding it. Will not be cashing it.
