I was asked to download Google chat I went through a interview and was told I had the job they asked for my drivers license address social security number and banking info the lady I was talking with on google chat also asked for my Facebook into which I stupidly fell for everything she then proceeded to lock me out of my Facebook which took me 2 days to verify it was mine and was able to get back in her name was Melissa Sheth the also added I would be receiving equipment and I would be receiving a check in the mail to purchase software then today they asked me to set up a bitcoin account

Conduent scam via Hangouts
This interviewer went as far as giving me an itemized list of equipment and sending me pictures of it after I was told I got the job. I guess I should have known it was a scam just by how the boxes were placed on a bed in someone’s bedroom but I thought “maybe the hiring manager is working from home too”? Plus you could tell the iPad and iPhone were obviously not in new condition as the back of them both had marks all over them. Not only that, but they removed the pictures of the equipment invoice and the pictures of the equipment from the conversation. Luckily I saved it before hand…In any case, if someone is wanting to conduct an interview with you through any kind of platform, your best bet is to CALL THE ACTUALL COMPANY and make sure it’s legit.
