I got an email reply from a job i applied for and to set up a phone interview and i did the interview and got the job afterwards and was told will get tentative job offer letter and do backup check. I did and then i started getting emails to do on boarding paperwork and to send W2s and other stuff. I did not do any of this and reached out with questions and never got a response and i keep getting the same emails over and over again. I told them i no longer wanted the job and they still send emails. I then relized it is a scam job.

Scammer advertising through local news. Messaged me and asked me to download telegram and interviewed me. Got my Facebook info and deleted everything including my email and changed my password. Then tried to get me to buy a prepaid card to put 100 dollars on it , so I could purchase the equipment that I needed for the job. Then they would reimburse me. So after they couldn’t answer as to why they changed my Facebook around, I knew what was up. Thankfully I didn’t purchase anything

Started off legit chat, seemed fine. Soon I realized they are fishing for information. Asked my bank login... yeah no.

I was looking for a at home job one popped on Facebook that was a job listing for Conduent

I answered a job posting on a Facebook local job page. Joseph Turner contacted me on Facebook Messenger advising me to download Telegram Messenger. I used the contact information he provided to reach Amanda Render on Telegraph Messenger. I went through an interview with her. I waited the required hour to request an update. She informed me that I was hired and she would be helping me with the onboarding. I gave her two photo IDs, my SSC, mailing address, email, LinkedIn profile, physical address, phone number, and bank name. She asked for unnecessary information to do direct deposit. I became suspicious and checked them out with BBB.

I was told by a lady on Facebook about a work from home job and she sent me an email [email protected]. I emailed them off google hangouts and they asked me a bunch of hiring information. I had a feeling it was a scam. They said they would send me a bunch of equipment that was worth a lot of money and then asked me for my Facebook information. I sent them a fake login and of course didn’t hear back from them and couldn’t message the Facebook girl anymore.

Renee Christine was on Google conducting the interview. Next thing, she is asking me to give her $150 for the payroll tracker. Then, I told her I couldn't afford it. She said she would pay for it, but to make sure she could get my login information for my Cash App information. I reported Kate Uysle who was the person on Facebook, and I reported the information on Google as well.

Facebook Scam. She claims She is a Manager for hiring with Conduent Inc.

I responded to a post on local community page on Facebook from a woman who claimed $20 an hour working from home. I messaged her for more info where she told me to download google hangouts and gave me the email [email protected] and an application code (CT-JOS002). I was told to open hangouts and contact this email with my application code. The interview seemingly legit up until I was being asked about my Facebook username and password. I called Conduent after that and asked about interviews being done via google Hangouts and was told by a representative that they do NOT conduct interviews in this manner. When I said this to the scammer on Hangouts they immediately left the conversation. And when I reached out to the lady I initially messaged for the job details to ask about the legitimacy of the job (I had done this shortly before I called Conduent and expressed my concerns about the info they asked me for and she had told me it was legit) she was, very conveniently, now unavailable on Facebook messenger.
This interviewer went as far as giving me an itemized list of equipment and sending me pictures of it after I was told I got the job. I guess I should have known it was a scam just by how the boxes were placed on a bed in someone’s bedroom but I thought “maybe the hiring manager is working from home too”? Plus you could tell the iPad and iPhone were obviously not in new condition as the back of them both had marks all over them. Not only that, but they removed the pictures of the equipment invoice and the pictures of the equipment from the conversation. Luckily I saved it before hand…In any case, if someone is wanting to conduct an interview with you through any kind of platform, your best bet is to CALL THE ACTUALL COMPANY and make sure it’s legit.

I saw a post on Facebook for a work from home so I clicked on it …I was told to download a texting app to dollhouse through interview so I did download the app . At this point I’m asking questions and they ask for my Facebook and password and that I would get paid 600 the next week just for letting them post on my wall. Ok so the day for me to get paid I text the lady …no response so I go to get on Facebook and I had been locked out so had to change my password…the lady finally replies and says u already changed ur password for Facebook and I was like yea cause I was locked out…so I kept sending messages to the woman and now she won’t reply …which I had in previous conversations told her I felt this was a scam and she was like no man it isn’t just think positive ….also in previous conversations she told me I had to purchase a vanilla debit card and put a 100 on the card for the equipment I would be receiving which I told her I didn’t have the money for that so she says ok when u get the 600 then u can buy the card …so the 600 never came in and so she never got her 100 dollar debit card either

They had someone local post a job offer on Facebook for an accounting position that was to be a work from home arrangement. They asked alot of questions and wanted access to my credit card account and Facebook account. They wanted me to buy gift cards and tell them the card information.

I found the post on Facebook for a written from home job, then was told to download viber for an interview, then they keep asking for me to make an account, so I did, then they wanted the username and password to almost everything I had, I gave it, then changed all the username and password and marked all my stuff compromised the person for irritated and asked for my username and password for my Facebook and I freaked out on them and they kept up with the its for training it's for training, I said not happening and asked for the guys name and nothing, I knew it was a scam but I fed into it to see what would happen, because if askance wants to steal my identity and such go ahead, not gonna get anywhere in a good $700,000-$900,000 in debt, and I said that to the postdoc and they said if your not even 30 you can't be that much in hole, yep they got mad, even worse was the pertain called me baby...

I saw a post for at home job opportunity for Conduent, so I made contact with the poster, who I saw had mutual friends with me on facebook so I assumed they were legit. They set up a question and answer interview through whatsapp business account. I noticed there were alot of grammatical errors for a company that was asking questions about accuracy. I messaged the original poster and mentioned the errors and she ensured me it was legit, so I continued with the interview. They asked me normal interview questions then informed me that I passed the interview process and then asked me for my name and address to set up payroll account, including my id. I gave them the info then they asked me for my fb login info because I was to be working with a team through social media and needed to be connected with them via the Manager, at first I said no because I wasnt secure in giving out that info, but they interviewer sent me his work badge with his picture name and birthdate, so I obliged. within minutes my email was going crazy with alerts about my email being removed and password changed and instagram logged out and I messaged them and asked why they said just hold they were logging my info into the computer that they were sending me for work purposes. Then my fb logged out and wouldnt let me log in. I then told the interviewer to stop and remove his email, he wouldnt. he told me they were working on it and just hold on. I then call Conduent security center and asked them if this was part of their interview process and they said absolutely not and it was a scam. I got ahold of fb and everytime I tried to regain my account they rechanged the password and code. I finally gained access to it after 2 hours, but it took forever and Im not one to fall for scams but this is a good one and it almost cost me more than a fb account...countless pictures that are only on fb, messages from family that have passed. Please be careful.

They are here

They do the same with me. But after 2 sections of the interview, I asked them some questions and they blocked me. I did not give them any accounts

I saw a posting on Facebook about a position for a stay at home job. I asked the women that posted the job on Facebook and she sent me a message asking me to download this social app to apply for the job. I then proceeded to take a code and an email to contact this person. After a long drawn out questionnaire I was approved for the position. I then was told I had to purchase a pre-paid master card to pay for equipment which they will re found back. The company paid off my credit card then had me purchase 2200 in Apple Card’s. Then turned around and asked for me to do it again. The women on FB kept replying this company is legit the money will be put back in. Something told me there is something wrong here. Just asked to speak to someone on the phone and waiting to hear back.

Any updates what happened ?

Contacted and said I was hired Was contacted initially via text message stating they saw my resume on indeed. They proceeded to have me go onto Google hang out and speak with the HR representative and sent me over a offer letter this morning I did give them my drivers license copy and now I called the company and they said that is not how they do it so these people have my drivers license number now.

Any update what happened after they got your license info? Thank you

Found a job listed on Tulsa buy sell & trade for a work from home position paying $20 per hr. Was forwarded to a supposedly supervisor Mark Roy that conducted an interview via telegram. The lady that listed the job apparently her page was hacked so now others are being led on. I hope that nothing of mine will be hacked cause I did forward my address and contact information! This Has to Stop!

Ad for WFH position doing data entry work. Went through what was called an interview where they asked me for the standard information, which I provided. I believe it is a phishing scam to get people's personal information. I unfortunately found out that it was likely a scam after they took over my social media after being asked to be a Facebook recruiter. I can no longer access my Facebook account as they have changed information that has locked me out. I hope nothing happens but I feel it needs reported so no one else falls for it.
