Consumer Clearinghouse Sweepstakes Reports & Reviews (3)

I received a call from Consumers Clearinghouse Sweepstakes stating that I won 2nd place and the prize winnings was $500,000.00. I was asked some questions but not in reference to bank accounts, credit card numbers or any personal info just as if I’m working and where would I put my winnings. I told her I would put it in a bank but did not give her my bank info. She transferred me to supposedly an attorney who would be handling the paperwork for my winnings. He did give his name but when I asked him to repeat it and question the name of the law firm ( Panner & Arsenal LLC attorney at law ) out of Chicago ill. He got snippy back to me saying how do I know that I’m talking to who I think I’m talking to, stating that I was sent a letter 2 weeks ago that I did not respond to. I told him I didn’t receive a letter. He then confirmed my address and said he had to call me back in 10 minutes and I didn’t receive a call back but during this time I contacted Publishers clearinghouse as the female I first spoke to said they were under publishers clearinghouse and reported this to them also. Please don’t fall for this scam.

Call from Shirley Davis of Consumer Clearinghouse Sweepstakes on Monday, stating I won 2nd prize of ("I advise you to sit down") $500,000, to be delivered as a certified cashier's check on Wednesday between 9-11:00 a.m. Then transferred me to the "lawyer", Kristin Milbank, who stated that I needed to provide $1500 to get the prize through U.S. customs. Gave me a claim number and phone # of Fed. Gaming Authority (202-894-7201) to verify. I called and they said they'd call me back, but I hung up. I asked for her number and she said her secretarty's number is 404-592-4313. I googled these names and numbers and I think they are a scam.

I received call around 2:45-2:50pm on 8-4-17 saying I was second place in some contest and I would win $800,000 and I asked what's the catch. He just got of sluffed it off and asked me will you be there Tuesday between 10 and 2 and he seemed to know that I was in Milford, OH. He said something about attorney giving me the check (Falco Bertowitz and Associates). I asked him where he was located and he said Austin, TX. He had a foreign accent. He asked me my age, I wouldn't tell him and I said a lady doesnt tell her age. I said whats the scam whats the trick, will I owe you money, how much will I need to pay to get $800,000 and he didn't answer that. They were supposed to bring the check in person. I don't remember entering into Consumer Clearing House Sweepstakes.
