A offer of trying a supplement was given to me via social media. I was to pay for shipping for this new product with offer of repurchasing. I purchased product and was initially charged $7.95 for shipping (by the way another product was added to that purchase for the same price but it cost the same so I didn't mind) and then 2 weeks later I was charged $119.95 for each bottle. I can't believe a company would think someone would want to spend $128 for sampling one bottle of a new product.

I am reporting to the Attorney General in Illionios, my place of residence, and New York since this (192-14 Northern Blvd. #678 Flushing NY 11358) was the address on the product. I need to research that address but in the meantime justice is needed against this fraudulent company.

In November they charged me $6.95 for a raffle on December they did not charge me nothing and today in January the 11th they charged me a monthly fee... I talked to the customer service they could not tell me anything about the raffle or who won or anything so how am I supposed to know they had the raffle... I think it's a rip off and I want to know how I can get my money back from that

Company a rip off and the items. They'll go through actual legit Company. And pose as if they were them. And once you start giving your card info. The item will be completely different from what attended you. Then you'll ask for a refund and they say a store credit for this much. And the items looks like you can purchase from Dollar Tree or five and below. Straight scam.

I saw an add on Facebook for a tactical backpack and bracelet. Comments and everything seemed legit. Didn't see anything weird when checking out.

I've done the same thing before and it was legit.

I never got a confirmation number email however...

I sent them an email asking and never heard back..

After looking at these I immediately canceled and ordered a new card before any extra charges could be processed.

At least I'm only out $17?

I was to receive a free product product only to pay shipping fee, but was charged on July 18, 2022 a 67.32 membership fee then again on Aug. 20, 2022. Upon receiving my statement with these charges I reported them to the bank issuing card used as fraud. The immediately closed the account and issued a new card. Yesterday, I was told these were legitimate charges and they can do nothing, then I called the card issuer and the indicated the bank was still investigating. The bank assistant gave me the phone number of (855) 623-1813.

received an offer to receive product for shipping costs only. shipping charge showed up in my account, then 2 days later another charge ($59.92) showed up in that same account. Charge appeared in my account as WellnessHealthCondition. I called the number listed 833-218-8436 and learned that this was Consumer Direct Savings Company and the charge was for a membership which I did not sign up for or authorize. The person on the other end of the phone (Call Center Customer Service) cancelled member ship and gave me confirmation # - supposedly contacted CDSC while i was on the phone, then relayed that the company agreed to refund me 50% of the above charge, IF i took no future action. I have reported it here and will contact my bank to stop pay charge. These are low-life, bottom-feeding, [censored]-suckers and this is entirely a scam. Beware of any offers of this sort.

Signed up for $5 chance on item.

All of a sudden I'm charged approx. $55 two months in a row.

Called but they would only refund $22 total. Gave me a certificate for $375 to purchase items.

However, they now want to charge shipping of $50. I don't want to waste any more money, and there isn't even a way to pay the shipping.

The scam began as a choice of 9 boxes - you were given 3 chances to win an iPad. On the 2nd box we picked, we won the iPad.we were charged $6.97 for shipping and handling and received an order confirmation from “[email protected]”. This showed that we had a order number for a “Tablet VMI - MC”. The next day I got a charge on our debit card of $68.89. We had no receipt of reason for this charge - I had to call the number that was registered on the debit card charge (855-429-8022) to find out what this charge was for. It was then I found that Consumer Direct Savings had sent us a $125 coupon to buy any of a number of products, none of which was an IPad. I got on the phone to complain about this apparent fraud. After first complaining about this bogus charge of 68.89, they said they would reimburse 1/2 the amount. I said that wasn’t good enough. They said they were gifting us an iPad and then this sneaky charge and an iPad wasn’t even being sent, only the $125 coupon to buy various offered item, none of them an iPad. After further complaining, they agreed to reimburse the full amount.

BUYER BEWARE: What I thought was a Patriot Facebook site, I ordered the tactical backpack for $5.95 shipping. Read the ad over, did not notice any catch or small print, so I ordered. Went through several ads where they want you to try or buy other products, which I declined every single one. Got to the last page to confirm order, did not see anything suspicious so I finished the purchase.
Two days later I’m checking my online account and see where they charged the $5.95 AND $67.32! I immediately called the bank to ask about the purchase and was given a phone number. I called 1-844-488-4806 and spoke to Kate, told her what happened; which she replied they do NOT give refunds, but said will send email with $125.00 voucher for products). Never received email; called back several days later and Kate, same lady, gave me a voucher number and website to use voucher. Went to website and these products are a joke.

A pop-up ad offering to participate in a survey in order to win an IPad Pro. I only had to pay shipping of $7.95. It was not presented that it was a "chance to win" but a gift for participating. Toward the end of the online process, I was required to agree to the terms and conditions - the stuff few ever read. According to them, I agreed to a monthly membership fee of $54.95. My card was charged for both. When I called Sam (her ficticious name) told me I had agreed to those terms upon checking the "Agree" box. No refund could be given, but, she would cancel the membership and send me a $125 gift credit or something. It hasn't arrived either.

ordered free foot massager and agreed to pay $7.95 for shipping. They did not send an invoice. I then started to get $63.71 charged monthly. I was supposed to get a voucher for $125 sent to my email. Never happened! I just cancelled and was told I would get a voucher within 24-48 hours. We'll see. A good lesson in reading the fine print, though I do believe I have been scammed!

Same thing happened to me. I called the company and they said they will refund $64.99. We will see but I have a feeling I’ve lost this money and I’m going to cancel my card. Terrible

Today I received a message that had the amazon logo arrow stating I had won an Ipad. Well I had to choose the correct box. My second click was correct. I was told I had to pay $1 to $5 shipping. Ad soon ad I put my card in I was charged $7.95 and the consumer direct savings website thanked me for ORDERING an Ipad. I didn’t order an Ipad. They claimed I had won it. I read their rules that state in a month they will charge 54.95 and $54.97 every month after that. I have called customer service twice and left a callback number over 5 hours ago. Well I am cancelling my card tomorrow and getting a new one. They made $7.95 but will not get more. They are total frauds.

Using "Costco" as the business that I was to get a product from, for just shipping and handling, it turns out, I just gave some crooks around $6. However, further research shows that many others have been targeted. There may be future charges coming up for a "subscription" that I did not sign up for, from what I have seen of other victims.

+1

I would cancel your card because it seems like noone has had luck getting their money back. I'm gonna hound them till I get my money back. Good luck!

I looked at my bank statement online, and realized there was a $56.95 charge that I didn’t recognize. Calling, I discover that in 2021, I purchased an item. Now I am informed that the $56.95 is a “Subscription Fee”—I said “No Thanks,” but they refuse to refund my money! I live on Social Security and occasional jobs—$56.95 is MY Money! How Dare They!

+6

My exact situation except my charge was $68.89. Just got off the phone with "customer service" and was told to contact Consumer Direct Savings because I wanted copy of policy which states I would be charged a monthly subscription and cannot be issued a refund. Of course I can't find that. Received no $125 voucher either. So it's October 2022 and they are still at it. I wish then the worst!

Same as everyone else I've been scammed I didn't even get the voucher I was supposed to get

In March 0f 2022 I saw an ad on Walgreen's website for a free smartwatch if you only pay the fright of $7.95. I knew it was either too good to be true or an incredibly cheap watch but for some reason, against my better nature, I purchased it for the $7.95 freight. However, they would only accept a debit card, not a credit card. This should have been a warning that something wasn't right. Anyway, unbeknownst to me, they signed me up for a prepaid debit card from Bank of America and I began getting monthly emails from Bank of America entitled Consumer Refunds and Payments with a "view statement" button. It was impossible to view the statement because the email on the account profile that was set up was evidently different than mine so there was no way of doing the "forgot password" thing since they never sent me a reset link to my actual email address. I thought the email was some sort of junk and didn't notice the monthly charge of $72 and change on my bank statement. I failed to have automatic alerts of charges on my debit card that I do have on my credit cards, so I didn't notice the charge. Finally I noticed and called the 800 number on the bank statement. The people that answered the phone were quick to agree to cancel the recurring charges. When I asked what they were for, it was pointed out that it was in the small print of the Free Watch promo an it entitled me to $125 worth of "gifts" from ConsumerDirectSavings.com. The gift coupons he said were supposed to be sent to me each month via email, but of course I never received such coupons. Bank of America refused to cancel the debit card and said I had never been charged for anything on it. I pointed out I had been charged at my own bank, which wasn't Bank of America. By the way, Bank of America was charged with massive consumer fraud and ordered to pay a $10 million penalty: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/about-us/newsroom/cfpb-orders-bank-of-america-to... /> Since Bank of America was no help I just called my own bank and cancelled my debit card to be sure I wasn't charged again.

On April 8, 2022 I came across an ad for a "free" smart watch with a $9.97 shipping and handling fee. The product eventually arrived in pieces in a ratty box and is not even functional (looks like it was from a dollar store). Regardless, I then noticed a charge on my bank card on April 14, 2022 for $72.33. They put it under "perpetualhomelivingess". I could not find any information online to even see what this charge was about. Fast forward to May 16, another charge of $64.95 was then taken from my acount. I finally was able to find the original email with the receipt for $9.97, no other communication was sent to me. I was not aware of these subscription fees, nor have I ever had a subscription fee fluctuate. I contacted the number on the email. The woman explained it was a subscription fee, I explained I was uninterested and would like a refund. She then canceled my subscription supposedly but would not issue any type of refund or assistance.

They need to be reported to the FTC and the Attorney General. I've been fighting with them since March 9th it's April 5 . I call and harass them every day. And I think master card is in on the scam, because as long as they keep saying ( the scammers) that they are going to pay it back they ( Mastercard) won't do a damn thing 😠.

Same here I think they should be reported to the BBB and see if there's anything we can do to get our money back

Bought an oximeter for $8 from Consumer Direct Savings. My credit union calls me and tells me they have been taking $56.95 out of my account since January! I called their customer service. They initially said they would refund me $28. I argued with them and they finally told me they would refund me $162. We'll see what happens!

It's almost a year later... Did you get your money back?

Saw an add on one of the Patriot websites for an oversurplus dash cam for free...pay $5.74 shipping (thought I was getting this from Patriot site)
4 dats later Dash cam arrived with instructions I can't read so I'm gonna get help .Any way 6 days later a withdrawal from my bank acct.for $67.32 from Newdeals 8554573115.l called the # was told because I took the intro offer of dash cam that was my consent to join their online website at a $67.32 monthly membership...which there was no info about any of this in the dash cam ad.
I had the sub.cancelled n was given a CANCEL.#.was then told I would receive a voucher for $124 to use on their website for misunderstanding but did not offer refund.I have tried consumerdirectsavings on May 21 ,11 days after initial dash cam order n website cannot be found thru Google bing or duck duck..called the above # today about this was given voucher# to use on website but no refund n no website
