They sent me this message and I knew it was a scam. Hello, I'm Gianna from the Costco Recruiting team.

After completing 3 days of online reviews for 3 sets of 30 "orders" (supposedly Costco products) and "earning" approx. $1650 in ETH, I encountered what these scammers call "lucky orders" - 2 such orders on 6/25 - requiring $1400 and $5600 in ETH deposits in order for me to receive $1685 and $6173 in "high commission bonuses". Sadly, I deposited $1400 in ETH towards the $1685 "bonus" that has NOT been received or withdrawn. The "system" only allows withdrawals AFTER ALL 3 sets of 30 orders (0.7% commission @) or 3 sets of 35 orders (0.8% commission @) have been completed. I encountered the 2nd "high commission" order on the 31st of 35 orders and have NOT been allowed to withdraw the $5419.88 currently sitting in what's called "Account Funds".

Long story short, the "system" i.e. scammers behind the scene will NOT allow withdrawal of $5419.88 already "earned" unless I pony up another $5600 in ETH which they claim would result in > $12000 in ETH to withdraw to my Exodus wallet.

I googled a portable air conditioner and sywarin.com came up. I purchased the portable air conditioner with my bank card and the money was taken. When i went back to look at the purchase the web is black saying web forgery and phishing.

Got an email that looked like it was from Costco giving out free Keurig machines in exchange that you only paid shipping after doing a short survey...I fell for it and though what a good deal, and they took money from my paypal account, I went back after looking it up that it was indeed a scam/scammer and that in a hidden fine print it was actually a subscription, that they will try & take more money from your account and no clear way to stop it. I have disputed it with paypal but they aren't any help because they think that $10 is just a waste of time and that I should cut my losses on it. But it's the principle, I'm on a fixed income and I need NOT to have scammers pulling money from my account that I didn't authorize!! Also I went back to see if I could find the email and it conveniently disappeared and I can't find any other information on them. Ugh.

My mother inlaw ordered me a 3in1 sleeper sofa from them , she recieved a conformation email . But we attempted multiple times to get in contact with them ,they emailed back one with a rude response . Contacted them over 14 times and nothing from them i want to know where my couch is i paid for

I was looking for a cheap 50 inch or 40 inch tv so i googled that. this came up with a Costco website that looked original. I thought I had found a deal. I had a major fall at work and have fractured cheek and orbital bone do I am on pain medication that. I thought about it and looked for the site but i couldn't find it today. i locked my Card the other day while the payment was pending but i could not find any emails or delivery information.

I clicked on a link on Instagram for what was supposed to be for Costco Wholesale for a counter top ice maker. I was provided an order confirmation email and also a tracking number. I've tried contacting the email listed on the site along with others that I found but no one has responded to any of my emails. The tracking number that was provided isn't showing as valid either. I believe this to be a scam and have filed a dispute with my online payment company.

I had clicked on a Costco ad and purchased some home security cameras. The purchase was taken from my account and after waiting over a month for shipping and never received the product I requested a refund. The company would only respond through email and stated a refund would be issued in 7 business days. They never issued a refund and they stopped responding to my emails.

The following email was received. We did not order anything from Costco. Therefore we think it is a scam.

From: Costco Shipping Agent ([email protected]) the email address had around the email address, but your system won't allow those characters

Unfortunately the delivery of your order COS-459303766 was cancelled since the specified address of the recipient was not correct. You are recommended to complete this form and send it back with your reply to us.

Please do this within the period of one week - if we don't get your timely reply you will be paid your money back less than 21%.

I was searching for a grill and Googled the choices. Companies were displayed with prices. The best price was listed as "NC" which came up as COSTCO and "Trusted store". Don't use this site. It is a scam. Never heard back from the sellar, just took my money!

Searched online for a Fitbit. Was directed to an item that looked like it was from Costco. I purchased the item for $62.99 and was sent a verification email and tracking number from what looked like Costco. For some reason I couldn't open the order summary, but I wasn't unduly concerned. Three days later I still hadn't received a shipping update, so I checked the tracking number. It wasn't a valid number. I then noticed at the bottom of the confirmation email, the customer service email was [email protected]. I checked my credit card and found a charge for $68.03 to a Middleton, UK business. I immediately canceled my credit card and reported fraud to the card company. Note: No telephone number was listed on the confirmation email, but your form requierd that a number be entered, so I put 999-999-9999.

PayPal was used to pay for the purchase. PayPal account name of the scammer is August Gustafsson. I am reporting the fraud to PayPal.

Attenpted to purchase 2 advent Swarovski calendars. Took a month and followed all over the world fir shipping. They notified me it arrived. No package. They have emailed me and offered 40 percent back as they said it was stolen from my porch. They have no proof or picture of delivery. Refused to tell what company delivered and my ring doorbell recorded no deliveries that day and i was home attge time they said it arrived.

The scammer is offering Advent calendars. I never received the merchandise. The tracking site showed the merchandise was delivered, which was a lie. I entered the email address on the internet and discovered there are many victims of this scam.

Used the tactic of a sale price on a normally very expensive high chair. Used a website that very closely resembles Costco website. Even has a login option to log into your costco account but of course you couldnt actually log in. They used other forms of payment such as afterpay to make you feel more secured about your info. They sent an order confirmation. With a way to track your order. They very quickly answered my email saying they could not cancel my order. The next day the website didnt work and you couldnt track your order.

I was looking for a sterility cabinet with doors they are expensive so I googled it and several came up at a low price so i clicked on it and Costco came up it looked weird but it stated they was a site for for 3rd party sellers to sell through there website so I bit and paid through PayPal or what i thought was pay pal so I was taken for 56 and change money I only got through fema to buy what i need for losing everything during Helene so I could not afford to lose that I don't work I'm disabled so i will

Never be able to replace that money I'm so upset i been waiting on cabinet I contacted them about it I have a tracking number but it's in Chinese it does say out for delivery for the last 3 days it's fake I know it is
