I clicked on a link on Instagram for what was supposed to be for Costco Wholesale for a counter top ice maker. I was provided an order confirmation email and also a tracking number. I've tried contacting the email listed on the site along with others that I found but no one has responded to any of my emails. The tracking number that was provided isn't showing as valid either. I believe this to be a scam and have filed a dispute with my online payment company.

I had clicked on a Costco ad and purchased some home security cameras. The purchase was taken from my account and after waiting over a month for shipping and never received the product I requested a refund. The company would only respond through email and stated a refund would be issued in 7 business days. They never issued a refund and they stopped responding to my emails.

The following email was received. We did not order anything from Costco. Therefore we think it is a scam.

I was searching for a grill and Googled the choices. Companies were displayed with prices. The best price was listed as "NC" which came up as COSTCO and "Trusted store". Don't use this site. It is a scam. Never heard back from the sellar, just took my money!

Searched online for a Fitbit. Was directed to an item that looked like it was from Costco. I purchased the item for $62.99 and was sent a verification email and tracking number from what looked like Costco. For some reason I couldn't open the order summary, but I wasn't unduly concerned. Three days later I still hadn't received a shipping update, so I checked the tracking number. It wasn't a valid number. I then noticed at the bottom of the confirmation email, the customer service email was [email protected]. I checked my credit card and found a charge for $68.03 to a Middleton, UK business. I immediately canceled my credit card and reported fraud to the card company. Note: No telephone number was listed on the confirmation email, but your form requierd that a number be entered, so I put 999-999-9999.

PayPal was used to pay for the purchase. PayPal account name of the scammer is August Gustafsson. I am reporting the fraud to PayPal.

Attenpted to purchase 2 advent Swarovski calendars. Took a month and followed all over the world fir shipping. They notified me it arrived. No package. They have emailed me and offered 40 percent back as they said it was stolen from my porch. They have no proof or picture of delivery. Refused to tell what company delivered and my ring doorbell recorded no deliveries that day and i was home attge time they said it arrived.

The scammer is offering Advent calendars. I never received the merchandise. The tracking site showed the merchandise was delivered, which was a lie. I entered the email address on the internet and discovered there are many victims of this scam.

Used the tactic of a sale price on a normally very expensive high chair. Used a website that very closely resembles Costco website. Even has a login option to log into your costco account but of course you couldnt actually log in. They used other forms of payment such as afterpay to make you feel more secured about your info. They sent an order confirmation. With a way to track your order. They very quickly answered my email saying they could not cancel my order. The next day the website didnt work and you couldnt track your order.

I was looking for a sterility cabinet with doors they are expensive so I googled it and several came up at a low price so i clicked on it and Costco came up it looked weird but it stated they was a site for for 3rd party sellers to sell through there website so I bit and paid through PayPal or what i thought was pay pal so I was taken for 56 and change money I only got through fema to buy what i need for losing everything during Helene so I could not afford to lose that I don't work I'm disabled so i will

Never be able to replace that money I'm so upset i been waiting on cabinet I contacted them about it I have a tracking number but it's in Chinese it does say out for delivery for the last 3 days it's fake I know it is

Lady messaged me through Facebook for a job at home making $50/hr and told me to go onto WhatsApp. I did go on WhatsApp and she asked normal employment questions and I am naive then asked for 220 dollars for a printer sent to me by her. I paid like a dummy and after I paid her she blocked me on everything.

False advertisements, this is not the official "Costco site." I made a purchase on a site listed as Costco via Facebook marketplace I notice the description did not match my actual order. Therefore, I looked up Costco number to confirm my purchase. The representative advised me that this was not a Costco order number and they do not carry the item purchased. I requested immediate cancelation and release of pending debit of funds at 11:30am est. Im still waiting on a follow up from the support email.

A business claiming to be Costco, said I won a free greenhouse. Just had to pay approximately 9+ dollars for shipping and handling. I entered my visa credit card numbers and it wouldn't let me complete the transaction, so I called their customer service line and was told I wouldn't receive confirmation for my transaction for 2-3 days. Long enough probably to take my credit card information and use it. I had to use the amount on this form as $900.00 because it wouldn't allow me to put the correct amount lost as $9.00. Also, I put my e-mail address in lieu of their address because I don't know their (the scammers) e-mail, as it wasn't listed.

website.

customer service phone is fake, 800-123-4567.

[email protected] also is customer service contact,

No physical/ city or state info. About us link goes to fake Costco wholesale page.
