Thank you for this response. I received a google form for a personal assistant position through my college so I filled it out. I received a response saying I got the job within 30 minutes and got a text from the same phone number. Something didn't feel right so when I went to look him up (he said his name was Dr. Rowan Webb), I couldn't find him. When I looked up the phone number he texted me from, it brought me to this page. I'm sorry that happened to you, but thank you for your post so I could prevent the same thing from happening to me .

- Port Arthur, TX, USA • Jun 28, 2024

So i thought I was going to get this job opportunity, I really thought she would help me get my life insurance license, but it turns out I have to work for her and it tirned out to be a pyramid scheme. She convinced me to be in a zoom personal meeting, had me filling out the Primerica policy and my personal informations as in SSN, DOB, and my banking account number and routing number. I had a big huge gut feeling about it and I try to redraw everything but the website couldn't let me. So that's how the situation started and I did lock my debit card just in case but something suddenly happens.

I am a student at Southern University in Shreveport Louisiana. On 02.29.24 I received an email via my school email from [email protected] for a part time job for interested students. I filled out a job application for the part time job offer for a virtual personal assistant. On 03.01.24 @8:57am central time, I received an imessage from claimed to be Mr. Morgan Collins. The number was 1(803) 869-0677. They told me to send my resume and I.D front and back to an email [email protected]. I was told later that day around 11:07 pm that I was hired for the position of the part time virtual personal assistant. I was told that my weekly allowance would be $450. I was explained what my first task would be. The first task was to purchase gifts and toys for 3 orphanage homes and mail them. There was a check of $1450 that was delivered to my address on Wednesday 03.06.24 that I later deposited via bank mobile deposit. That morning of the same day, I was messaged via iMessage and was told that the assignment was changed from me purchasing the toys to me sending the money to the orphanage home managers instead. On 03.07.24 I was instructed to send money that was deposited into my CapitalOne checking account from the $1450 mobile deposited check. I was instructed to send $250 to cash app Adam Nickolaus cash tag $1226A1980 and Zelle $750 to Diane Cortez, email [email protected]. Per the job description, $450 was supposed to be my weekly payment amount. The same day I was instructed to send another $250 with promises of getting the money from my weekly payment back with the next assignment payment. Later that evening of 03.07.24, I was emailed another check of $1950 to be deposited through CapitalOne bank mobile. The bank app did not capture the check through email, so they told me that it would just be sent in the mail instead. The morning of 03.08.24 I saw that my account had a negative balance. I checked through my recent transactions in my account and saw that the $1450 that was deposited by Capital One was reversed. I sent a message to Mr. Morgan Collins to inform them of the situation that happened and they responded with saying that they will check with the account officer to see what happened and will get back with asap. That was the last message that I received from that number. My bank (CapitolOne) then called me and left a voicemail saying that there was unusual activity in my account. I called the bank back at 1:21 pm that day. I spoke with Danielle from CapitalOne customer security and informed her of everything that led up to the situation. She then informed me that it sounded like I was a victim of a scam. I gave her all of the numbers, emails, and addresses that i had from the fake businesses. I was instructed to call CapitolOne back in 2-3 business days for an update on the Investigation.

How about your situation now. I have the same situation with you,but the different is the number of Mr. Morgan Collins is 8038201552 and they send my $2,450 check.

Because my PNC mobile account not add this amount as "available balance " so I was not began these assignment and the deposit was returned after a few day.

I just sent messages with Mr Collins and he told me will ask the manager as soon as possible.

Maybe I suffered same scam with you but I am too lucky to send any money to these account.
