Beauty by Wendy contacted me by email about a position they have and that they considered me a good candidate. The position involved receiving beauty products and repacking them into their company-customized boxes. She forwarded me a picture of the boxes I will be getting by USPS where the customized boxes and beauty products are. After obtaining all the responsibility and future Zoom call for an interview, she sent me the contract which needed to be signed and sent back to her. During this time communication was either via email or text message. She sent me two different checks the first one included my two weeks' pay and extra money to have in case I needed to purchase postage and any other supplies for the job. The first check was deposited and returned didn't know why the bank never explained it to me the reason. I contacted her about what happened and she forwarded me a second check and the same thing happened and was returned because the account was either frozen or closed. After that happened I sent her a photo of what the bank sent me with a copy of the check and never heard from her since that day November 9th, 2023. Due to everything that has happened, I believe that this can be a scam not sure but it needs to be evaluated.
