I received a message from Mrs. Patricia D. Forsman from ASPEC CONSTRUCTION LTD. According to the message she saw my resume on INDEED. I didn't trust this message because I received a similar text from Gotham Therapeutics on last week. The only difference is Gotham Therapeutics requested for me to download the Telegram app for further communications. I became real skeptical of Gotham Therapeutics, when I was offered the position after answering a few questions, but they never advised me of the next steps as after they allegedly hired me. I have deleted the app after I screenshot all of the communications with both parties. I did't trust neither of the two companies. I believe that Indeed and LinkedIn needs to investigate these employers and make sure that they are legitimate. I have provided the screenshots of the communications from both companies.

Yes it is a scam!!!!
In the position right away immediately which really caused me to think that this may be a scam
So they asked me to download a signal app and login for a couple of days as they discuss training etc
Then they say that they will be sending you a check so that you can buy equipment when I first asked what kind of equipment they did not answer
So I asked again and then they gave me the rundown on how I would simply use the checks to furnish my office and make an elaborate exclusive office place for me to work in by purchasing a desk a monitor a computer a fax machine a scanner file cabinets a desk etc
So the check came in the mail of course I was never planning to cash it but I reached out to them and asked them about them being a scam me it was ridiculous and that they were checking into it
The check's almost totaled some $5,000 and I'm not stupid enough to cash these checks into my bank account so that I owe my bank money this is definitely a scam

They then messaged me a few hours ago through text for an interview but they ignored what I said and pushed for a text on Signal. Once I got to Signal, they gave a bunch of fake interview questions to see if I'm qualified for the position and then told me that I was a qualified candidate and then they went on to act as if I was hired. They told me to download some programs for the work and they then said they'll send a check over to cover it later.
