Similar to previous report, found this “company” on zip-recruiter. Their hr reached out to ask for an in person meeting. The address sent does not look like a commercial building. The emails don’t contain a name, and the phone number isn’t answered when called.

Sketchy.

I followed through and added them on zoom per their instructions (first red flag I should have caught as well as the fact it was an outlook email instead of a company email).

I then exchanged formalities with the and was told I would be given a briefing on the job position and interviewed.

The interview consisted of 10 questions ranging from what projects have I worked on, what makes me good at my job, expected salary and the like. Nothing really technical just yet which I chalked up to this being the first step in the process.

Once done the interview seemed quite happy even saying it was "Brilliant" and to be on stand by and wait for the team to check it out.

I got a response an hour later saying I am being hired and that they would be paying me more than what I was asking for. They asked that I send Name, Address, phone and email so I could be registered in their system and that they will be reaching out over the next few days digitally.

At this point I felt something was wrong and found their website which was listed as "Not Secure" and overall gave me bad vibes. I saw another post here on ScamPulse.com from the same company domain.

At the point I ceased contact.

Received an email for said company stating they had received my resume from Ziprecuiter and offered employment start date 02/12/2023 starting at $35. However never even interviewed with anyone. Stated they would send me an I9 form and needed to log into id.me website. Seems like a scam to retrieve personal info

- Port Charlotte, FL, USA • Feb 06, 2024

Got the offer in email then said I needed to open an account at DCU bank and said regardless they that they would need my bank name and photo ID. I did not send of course

- New York, NY, USA • Feb 05, 2024

They came to me to offer me a job but I checked on here and saw they were a scam. Their email was very sketchy and that’s when I was put off.

Individual claiming to be Robert Cooper, the Customer Service Manager at Pro-Tech Solutions. I received an email that raised significant concerns. The email, ostensibly from Mr. Cooper, detailed a job opportunity for a Customer Service Officer within their organization. It was emphasized that this position was unrelated to sales, and additional job information was provided in a Description pdf file, which was attached. The email encouraged me to express my interest by completing an online form, stating that an automated email containing more information had been sent to my email address. It was advised to diligently fill out all fields on the form, as their HR Manager would subsequently contact me for a phone interview. Mr. Cooper indicated that I should contact him if I did not receive the link to the online form. The remuneration offered was stated as $3,200 per month for part-time and $4,000 per month for full-time positions, with payments made on a monthly basis. Mr. Cooper also offered to address any inquiries via email. The contact information provided for Pro-Tech Solutions included the following: Name: Robert Cooper Title: Customer Service Manager Address: 355 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10017, USA Phone: (888) 765-2095 It is noteworthy that their website, located at https://protechsolutions.info/, was registered in Germany in August 2023. The phone number listed on their website, (888) 765-2095, appeared to be non-responsive, either ringing indefinitely during the day or answering briefly before hanging up after hours. The phone interview come from 718-502-8952 & 718-502-8982. One of these numbers is traceable. Subsequently, I received a phone call from an individual with a heavy foreign accent, claiming that I had been accepted for the job offer. This marked the commencement of my training, during which I was instructed to communicate via Telegram and their web email at https://business143.web-hosting.com. Throughout the training period, I was assigned various tasks each day, such as creating a FAQ, conducting competitor research, and corresponding with customers via email (though it seemed these interactions were fabricated). Additionally, I was asked to make phone calls to customers, wherein the person on the other end displayed a distinct and difficult-to-identify accent. It was apparent that my interactions were mainly aimed at gathering and transmitting information to another department, referred to as their technical department. However, the situation took a concerning turn when I was suddenly instructed to open a company bank account in my local area, purportedly as part of their effort to establish a virtual office in my state. This request included demands for a copy of my driver's license along with a selfie and my social security information.

I went through training process of calling clients and being told that afterwards I’ll be paid 4000. I filled out hiring documents and had provided some account direct deposit.
