Initial contact was from [email protected] stating that they reviewed my resume on career builder. I ignored it and 11 days later I received a text from "Amy Hardy" instructing me to go to Teams and set up a meeting with "Gaz Bisht" at [email protected] to set up an immediate interview via teams. I was excited for the opportunity and set it up. He had me get on the teams video call for 10 seconds to verify we were real people at which point we conducted an interview via Teams chat for a good 45 minutes. I was hired on the spot and was told that for my remote equipment, they would send me a check to immediately deposit into my account. I was to then immediately take out all but $200.00 of that and mail it to their "vendor of choice" who would then send me my computer/iphone, etc. I also received via email an onboarding packet and W4 form to complete with my SSN and send back with a copy of my drivers license. I got off the interview and just knew it was a scam. "Gaz Bisht" IS employed at Empyrean Energy as Chief Technology/R&D Officer" NOT an HR employee. The guy on the video call even resembled him quite a bit. My onboarding info came from "Jamie Campbell" [email protected]. This morning when they had not received my onboarding package by 8am (they were very pushy about that) "Fake Gaz" called me on Teams 3 times in 15 minutes, all of which I ghosted. I hope this helps someone else.

Scammer emailed me work from home position i was emailed PDF check to deposit in my account Then instructions were to zelle amounts of 1000 to various so called Software Vendors I was asked to withdraw other funds at my bank and to go to a bitcoin location
