scammer advertised on my FB page that I was selling Taylor Swift tickets. When I called FB to report it they told me the scammers was transferring 1K from my Cash App to Bit Coin thru Chase Bank. When I told FB I had no money they got angry and cursed me and hung up the phone. I believe someone at FB is a part of the scam.

I chose a Facebook page because I could no longer login. This website said it was Facebook on the phone. They made me change my Apple ID and had me process gift cards saying someone from Florida was trying to get a gift card from my account. He walked me through all these gift card payments if 100.00 dollars each. All 4 of these are taken from my bank account. He assured me they would all be put back in my account. I finally cut him off and refused to do any more of them. I changed my Apple ID again. I feel so stupid for falling for this scam.

My Facebook was hacked so I was trying to be able to get back into my account. I called the number off the Facebook page and they used an app to get into my phone and withdrew $195 from my Venmo account and purchased cyber currency with it.

I am having a problem with Facebook. I googled a phone number for them. I talked to a foreign man. He asked me for my email address, which I gave him. He asked me if I had a bank account or a checking account and what the name and account number were. I told him I bank through the government and he hung up.

My Facebook was hacked my emails and password was changed I searched Facebook customer service I called what I thought was Facebook support they said I needed to add my money on cashapp and then add it to Bitcoin then said I will get it back in 48 hours and not to contact my bank or open any suspicious txts or emails. and that the hackers were already on my cashapp, venmo, PayPal and that this was needed to be done so the hackers didnt take my money. I waited the 48 hours and they said they weren't able to return my money and I had to wait till the next morning. I asked to speak with a supervisor and he said he was the supervisor I asked to speak with someone else and he wouldnt. He was on my phone using a app called anydesk. I searched the number he contacted me from 510-939-3475 and I found this and that they are Facebook imposters.

Her Facebook account was hacked. She googled the phone number for Facebook Security and the number 510 939-3475 came up. She called the number and spoke to a Jacob. They had her put $205.00 into bitcoin; sold it and had her send the $205 to Bastian Merriam ($theironavenger64). Jacob then called her back and told that in order for them to return the $205, she needed to remove all her money from her bank account and put it in Cashapp; she refused. They keep telling her this is necessary to verify the bank info. She has removed her money from the bank and has alerted her financial institutions of possible fraud.

Offered to fix my hacked Facebook account, but tried scamming my information

- Waynesboro, VA, USA

I Found this number for Facebook customer support through a Google search and called the number because my wife's Facebook page had been hacked. The "customer support person" said that someone had changed the email address and phone number on her Facebook account and was using it to post Marketplace adds so steal money from people. He said that I needed to download the Anydesk app so that he could see my screen and gained access to my wife's phone. He then told me had the hacker had created a cash app account in my wife's name and asked me to open her ****** account. I did this and then he told me to download a **** ********** app. When he said this, red flags went up and I told him that I would have to call him back. I asked him to disconnect the anydesk app which he did and he gave me his "direct line" (805) 668-4298, name- William, ID# 707 and a case# and told me to call him back. I hung up and deleted the anydesk app abd then did a Google search on the phone number I had called him on and this ScamPulse.com scam report came up. Now my wife is getting a new phone and has to change all of her passwords. I don't know if everything is compromised but she is doing it to be safe.

Told me I had spyeye malwale on my phone and they could remove it. I gave access to log into my phone and after 1 hour of the scammer having access they said my device was now cleaned. A friend suggested that it was suspicious and i started noticing weird stuff. When I was on automated phone calls where you input information by clicking on the keypad the automated system would not recognize my input. Also when i ran Kapersky antivirus software to check my apple id it showed an id that wasn't mine. Now my passwords are comprised and I have to buy a new photo because resetting the phone to factory settings wouldn't work. They could track all my actions and even key strokes.

Thought I was in touch with Facebook support, but they wanted access to my phone and wanted bank information

- Kimberly, ID, USA

I called for tech support about my Facebook account being disabled. They told me to download an app called quick book. And the code given on the app.

Not sure why I need that app.

They should be able to fix this part on their end not send downloads to my phone.

Then they hung up.

I've tried calling 3 more time.

They keep on hanging up, the last time they told me to shut up.

This phone number needs to be taken 9ff Google, and they needs to be traced.

Also Facebook needs to fix people accounts and not disable them for no reason.

I had a product listed on Facebook marketplace. I received a message saying they were very interested. They asked for my phone number so they could call me to discuss the sale. They said to protect their interests, they would send me a code to my phone number, and I would message them the code. Then I was told the phone was "not secure" per Google phone, and asked for another phone number. I gave them my business phone, and again got the same response. They were insistent on me giving them another family members number. That is where I paused and told them no

Pop-up Facebook ad under business name "Electric" for Romex wire offered at a good price. Asked to wire transfer money to Dominican Republic for Johnson Electric.

I got locked out of my Facebook account so I Googled the phone number for Facebook customer support and found 888-303-1990. I called and was told I had to pay $75.00 to get the account unlocked, which I paid through a bank account. I was also told to purchase Google Play gift cards and give him the numbers over the phone, which I did for 3 cards.

I received a text msg that said: no subject/[Facebook] We received reports concerning your recent posts and comments on our platform: http://fbreports-tqvr0h9lnn3g.webplus.al

When I clicked the link to see what it was all about my phone popped up that it was an unsecure site, and could hurt my phone or that sender could be trying to get my personal information. Not my phones exact wording, it is how ever exact wording I typed out for what the text said. I knew it wasn't true also cause I am irked at facebook and have been for awhile so I have been on it to comment or post anything at all in months. Since facebook makes it next to impossible to tell them this stuff I came here to let others know. I have received 2 of these in 2 days both from different addresses. Didnt see a phone number it came from. That first one I typed out came from [email protected]. The second one said exactly the same words but came from [email protected]. I did text back and say thats funny I have not been on facebook in months and if they didnt leave me alone I would report them, Ive heard nothing since.

- Whitney Point, NY, USA

I receive a text message from the number listed above and in the accompanying screenshot attached below. The text says that Facebook has removed a post from my business page. My business page hasn't been active for several years. There is a dubious link included in the message. I checked the link from a virtual machine and it takes you to a page asking you to log in to Facebook. Naturally I didn't do this. I did check my Facebook page through my phone app and there is no indication that I've had any posts removed from any pages further suggesting that this text is a phishing attempt.
