Contacted scam artist thru messenger. Said there was an apartment to rent. I needed to send 75 to him/her to run credit check and background check. I sent it. Got a confirmation email. Then the scammer requested 200 deposit on an unseen property. I asked for a refund of my credit check . He/she vanished

This scammer contact me on face book claiming to just wanting to be friends on face book messenger than it move to a email. This person rush being friends into wanting a long distance romantic relationship within two days and trying to see how much money i made right off the back with than four days. So i played along because within two days this person claim to be in love with me without physically being around me using the words I love you carelessly. Then this person kept asking for $30-$100 on four different occasions for four different things too was trying to get me to send them money but i played like I was broke. This person keep sending me photos throughout this week ordeal too. Then it want to this person dad had stock shares that they couldn't get but they wanted me to send me $100000 from that case their lawyer was working that they got from the company who w[censored]ding their dad stock shares' They claim to wanting to help me out trying to get my banking information and i wouldn't give it but instead i gave them a bank that they hadn't heard of but was real but than they was on to be and wouldn't text me through that email anymore. In the hold week that this person contact me. They didn't want to face time or talk on the phone verbally which was other red flags that this person was a scammer.

I ordered two items from this company one was not as ordered. 2 shorts the same, see picture, clearly not. One never arrived. Both through PayPal purchased and was told by the company or threatened that if I did not close the account they wouldn't refund me. That despite their 100% guaranteed money back they were only going to give me 50% back or I had to ship it to China with it their words "at my own risk, no guantee it wouldn't be lost in returns"

I ordered several Jim Shore items from the site facebook as they declared they were going out of business and all items were 50 to 75 percent off. I ordered the items and they took the payment of $160.00 and sent me invoice numbers. Several weeks later I contacted them at [email protected] asking when it would be shipped and got a bogus tracking number. I continued to email them continually and received responses telling me it was out for delivery or shipped out. I demanded my money back several times and got no response. I reported them to my bank and am currently attempting to receive my money back.

Received email that I requested to change my Facebook password. I don’t even have a Facebook account. I did NOT click on the “change password” box. But I did click on “if you did not request this change, please let us know” and it appeared to go to Facebook help page.

Scammer has posted items on Facebook market place. Offers meet up but will also offer shipping. Asks to pay via PayPal but through Facebook payment options. I lost $68.00. Then never ships it.

They offered FB tech support and it was similar to what is already published. I did download a site and at some point I wised up and hung up. Immediately restricted my bank accounts and uninstalled the apps from my cell phone.

Ad came on social media (Facebook). Review as best as possible and purchase through a credit card. The company showed that the item shipped for a week and then the website and order number disappeared. Unable to track item or contact company. The website logo changed to Purelev

I learned about a (fake) doctor online in a Facebook Chat selling Ozempic. There were a ton of red flags but since everyone is out of Ozempic I did it anyway. She wanted payment which I did on Cash App. Then they asked for insurance which I dumbly paid. Both on CashApp. I lost a total of $550. They have a fake shipping site. https://proactiveexpressservice.com even with live chat agents. I think they are in Asia, though they used a phone number from Texas, USA.

I recently heard that Bed Bath & Beyond was having problems. Then Aug. 13th 2023 while on FaceBook I came across an ad for a shoe cabinet. I went to the www.bedbathandbeyond.com website and reviewed the item along with cost of shipping/taxes. I made the purchase on my MasterCard for $31.98. I received an email with confirmation of my order later that day. I noticed that the amount charged to my creditcard was $32.62 on the following day. Today, Sept. 13th 2023 I received a package of USB cables from: SHIPPING CENTER, 21460 YELLOW BRICK RD, WALNUT CA 91789. When i googled the address a fraud website came up with the same M.O. as my experience. They've received various items from the same shipping address.

I have been going back and forth with these people at facebook ([email protected]) since May 11, 2023. I still have not received my refund for the $43.00 I paid. They said they delivered my package yet nothing was at my door nor my neighbors door. They supposedly resent the items and again I still did not receive them and neither did my neighbors. I have continuously asked for my money back and they give me an excuse every single time as to why it’s not in my account yet. I’m over it!

Scammer advertised on Facebook to Disabled Veterans and Seniors. Buy this Foot Massager to relieve all your Aches and Pains. They took my money instantly, all $38. I tried to contact them at [email protected]. A month later a Black Trash Bag, covered with green Algae arrived by USPS. I had to use gloves to open it. Inside was a Flattened box with some Flattened parts. All I had was an E-Mail address and they refuse to refund my money. The Bank has tried to contact them with no success.

Website claiming to be Dicks sporting goods popped up on my Facebook feed. Super Sale on Hoka sneakers. I purchased and then realized it seemed to good to be true. Turns out it’s a scam. I lost $43. Called my bank to stop payment but couldn’t. Had to get new debit card.

A person hacked my friends email and asked me to send money to a friend of his who had cancer and it was their birthday. It sounded like my friend as that is how we communicate. He asked for 100 . He said his card wouldn't go through and he would pay me Monday. I sent it then said he wondered if I could send him 100 to his email as he wanted to forward it himself so the birthday guy could buy a tablet. I did it...I never thought I would fall for this but I did. I still have emails.i lost $200.

I fell for the scam on Facebook. I paid $29 for the cup, the money was taken out and I never received it. The tracking app said it was delivered but I never received it. I have been in contact with the scammers in regards to getting a refund and they keep saying they will get back to me in regards to where it could be. They wanted to me to confirm my address and I just keep demanding a refund. I guess I’m just lucky they didn’t take more money than they already did.

Scammer said if my husband made a donation of 20% to the church the church would pay 2 months of our car payment and our electric and gas bills to make sure they were up to date since we fell behind on them. The payment of bills have all since been returned on their end but, the $140.00 hasnt been returned to us via cashapp.
