The scammer used Facebook Marketplace to communicate. They had every part I was looking for, which should have been a sign that something was wrong. They only accepted payment from Zelle as well.

I believe it's more than a scam my husband started investing in Bitcoin with a company after that we noticed in our joint checking account with chase duplicate transactions on statements and chase eventually closed account not believing us if I made a deposit of 400 dollars then it would show 2 deposits but if I took out it would show I was overdraft but here's where it gets weird this happens all the time where there is money appearing then disappearing from my account with no evidence of it except my screenshots when I catch it I believe someone has hacked my accounts and husband's ive had family members receive text phone calls from people imporsenating us

Found breeder on Facebook Group Puppies for Sale in Massachusetts. Breeder named Heather took money for puppy and said puppy will be delivered by Champion Delivery. Many back and forths with the delivery company to deliver the puppy and after total of $1800 between them and the seller they want more for repairs on the delivery truck as it broke down.

Scammer advertized blouses for a good price. When the product arrived it was absolutely poor quality material and workmanship. The package did not include an invoice or the method for returning blouses or a full address to return the goods too. My package was undeliverable by UPS because no Suite Number was included in the address. Definitely a scam.

They posted a rental property on Facebook market place under cedar woods apartments @ 3762 N. Cedar in Fresno. 2 bed 2 bath. I inquired through messenger. Profile of a Destinee Tharp responded not indicating how she was affiliated w/ ad, complex, or link she sent of c & c property management in Monterey, CA. to apply and pay rental app fee. After I clicked link and paid app fee as well as enter all rental app questions asking for my personal information......I messaged Destinee Tharp on messenger Facebook to see status. No response. I then called # on c & cs website in Monterey and they claimed Destinee was manager of complex on cedar Ave in Fresno. I asked for her to call me. I received text messages from a random # that had no response when I called directly. A person claiming they were Destinee called days later and actually said she was @ the complex. Bc I didn't hear from her after I sent the money I did not know who she really was as when I called office different people answered claiming they all worked for c & c but would return calls using phone #s that weren't listed on ad or on website. This so called Destinee I do not believe was really who she said she was. And if so...I believe there is some type of scam going on w/ c & c property management as well as Cedar Woods apartments. This occured on 1/30/2023. I also received a bogus text on my cell phone saying property has been rented to someone else and to reply stop to unsubscribe. And I received an email saying my application was being reviewed. The email or phone # of who messaged me didn't say anything about cedar woods apartments or c & c. It was another company.

The boots I purchased were advertised on Facebook as Clark’s, a reputable brand and made of leather. The product I received were cheaply made plastic. They offered a money back guarantee if I was not satisfied. When I contacted the company by email for a refund, they ask for pictures of the product, pictures of the packaging, anything to stall my return. I jumped through all the hoops. They finally informed me I would have to pay a $30 shipping fee to return the boots or they would refund 30% of my money and I could keep the boots. This shows that the boots are actually literally worth nothing, period. I elected to keep the product and get 30%. These people are scammers and I hope you can stop them from scamming others.

A purchase was made from an ad on Facebook, tried to cancel purchase after realized it was a scam but couldn't. Checked my bank account and the amount of $53.38 had been deducted.

I put a bowling ball for sale on marketplace Facebook. I started to receive lots of interest with folks saying they will pick it up today and then they hit me with a Google six digit number to make sure I’m a real person and pretty much that’s the last I heard from them.

I ordered to Amazon palletsliquidation.i thought everyone was .I got earbuds the day they said my 50 dollar one had been delivered. I ordered one for 9 and one for 50.i didn't get the 50.pallet.it says I did.i talk to amazon .they said they haven't heard of them..thanks for your time.i would think the 9 dollar pallet would be earbuds

Called and want ed to return vest w/battery were going to charge restoking fee and I was signed up for a subscrpition for VIP service that was free.

I was charged even after I was told it would be cancelled on my previous call Jan 24, 2023.

I ordered internet service from this company advertised on Facebook, I received a router but the service doesn’t work, I contacted the company about the problem with no help and they’re not wanting to refund me, so I told them I can open a dispute with card and they threaten me with turning it over to a debt collector.
