Hi, they had the ad up on this site https://fortlauderdale.americanlisted.com/pets-animals/healthy-kids-friendly-dal...⇄ We contacted the number and they had the dogs available. They said they lived in Seattle, Washington and they didn’t have FaceTime. They sent us a video of the supposed puppies and we decided to get a female Dalmatian. I spoke to a guy on the phone named Odain, very heavy Irish/English accent. He wanted a $200 deposits for the Puppy Sale Agreement Contract. I received the contract and it looked fine. I signed it and sent it back. He then said that I needed to complete the remaining $385. They said that the dog would ship on Saturday morning and arrive Monday via a company called Family Pet Services. Once Odain dropped off the dog with the transport company, the transport company emailed me the ownership and transfer details. Then on Sunday morning around 2am, they emailed me again saying that they needed additional money for a temperature vented crate and vaccine, one of the things scammers say. I refused the payment. They said they were at the Billing, Montana Pet Control Center. I had an animal control officer of Billings drive to the location and she said no one was there. I tried to call the number and they refused to answer. They texted me they would call me back later even though this was all “urgent”. I then called my bank and wrote up a claim for all of this.
