Use this FOX OVERHEAD GARAGE DOORS LLC to service your garage door. NOT EVER!
I called because the door wouldn’t go up or down and just beeped. They told me it was $30 to come out and tell me what was wrong with the door and if I choose to have it fixed by them, they would waive the $30 service fee.
So the guy comes out, I say the one safety is green and he says the other one should be red, literally moves the safety eye 1/8 of an inch with his pointer finger and says it’s fixed “That will be $171.”
WTF
When I originally called, the woman said the $30 would be waived IF I CHOSE to have them fix it, doesn’t that mean they have to give me a price and then I chose to have them fix it?!
Because I would’ve told them to pound salt for $171. The guy was literally here for 5 minutes and 4 of those were going to his truck and typing out an invoice.
They obviously get a ton of complaint calls because when I called and I was immediately put through to a women who said “is it fixed? Then you pay for that labor” That labor?
It was 1 second, you telling me you charge $171 per second?
When I asked to speak to her manager she said I am the manager there is no one above me, only the owner and he’s not available. He owns several companies across the United States and does not talk to customers. She said “Do you talk to the owner of Wal-Mart?”
I said no, but I will talk to the Manager, the General manager or the District manager and she said there is no one above me. Then hung up.
