Furry Movers then emailed my mom stating that that couldn't proceed with the delivery because the shipment needs to be insured, something the breeder did not inform us about. I spent time on the phone texting and speaking with Emmanuel Church, who was the signature on the emails that were sent to my mom. He explained that the insurance was fully refundable upon safe delivery of the puppy. He said the courier would refund us in cash. Furry Movers/Emmanuel asked for $1180. They emailed my mom and me an invoice which seemed legitimate. I sent the additional funds to the Furry Movers via Zelle, and at that point, the contact person from the shipping company still responded to my texts. About an hour and a half later, they asked us for the emails to send the new flight itinerary to. When we received the email, the company was asking for an additional $977 for an air conditioned crate that is required for puppy transport. At that point we realized it was a scam. I tried calling the numbers we have for the breeders and the shipping company and no one ever responded (to my calls or text) and last night when I called one last time, it said the phone was out of service. Here is another email associated with the company: [email protected].
