Covid 19 hardship loan modification

Claimed to be able to get my forebearance back pack forgiven and a new lower rate around 1000/month. Had me make a few payments to some zelle account called green Equity Solutions and then now after the 3 payments they won't respond at all and I'm getting letters from my lender claiming foreclosure proceedings unless I pay r6k in 3 weeks. Was also told my credit wouldn't be impacted while they were negotiating which was a lie. Spoke with a Nadia.a, Zoey, and Jordan Frost within the company. . Don't know what to do bur talk to my bank, my mortgage company, and one of the Hud approved agencies which are supposed to help with a loan modification.

I am trying to reach anyone at Golden Home. No one textures texts or phone fall. I finished my modification oayments and was promised, by Golden Home that after I made these payments, my monthly payment would be 1,100.00 or less, even though the paperwork reflected the same amount as the modification payments. My loan company says my payments are almost $1,500.00! This is 200 dollars more than before the modification. Luckily I have documented all calls and correspondence, to prove I was promised and quaranted a rate of 1,100.00,.since I cannot get any response from Goldden Home,.as to what is going on now, and I have no paperwork to reflect my new monthly payments, I am ready to take legal actuon against them, holding them responsible the additional costs above the 1,100.00 figure, for the life of the loan. Maybe suing them is the only way to get a courtesy response, saying they have received my calls and texts, at the very least. I can not recommend them to anyone. They don't communicate don't respond, and at this point appear to lie and deceive customers. I hope this is resolved, by the time my first new payment is due, in 3 weeks. Go directly to your lender. Golden Home is a scam. You will get the same result they get you, without having to pay thousands extra for Golden Home to forward paperwork. They have no ability to negotiate. You qualify for l certain interest rates, based on your financial situation, the type of loan you have, your payment history, etc. Demand your money back from Golden Home and contact your lender A.S.A.P. We have all sadly been scammed.

I have been working with this company for the past seven months and finally got my loan modification. It took longer than expected, but I am overall happy with the outcome. Be aware that they ask for a lot of repetitive paperwork, as the months go on it needs to be more updated stuff. But eventually it is all worth it! I was worried for a while since I paid so much money and wasn't seeing results. Then I came on here and saw all the reviews... But once it was all over, my monthly mortgage payments were so much lower! PLEASE TRUST THE PROCESS! My husband and I definitely feel a weight off of our shoulders knowing we didn't get scammed and can now stay in our house ahaha. Definitely worth it!

You could have received the same result had you gone directly to your lender. You could have saved the money you paid Golden Home, and the aggravation they put you through. Ask your lender and they will verify Golden Home had nothing to do with the results you received. Glad you are happy you paid thousands of dollars unnecessarily.

this company promised to modify my home loan ,wants you to send authorization forms to your mortgage company for them to mail everything from your loan to them. then they tell you to quit making your payment to them. and request money orders from you. then promise you they can help you out and take your money and stop correspondence with you till they want more money.you can never get but a recorded message at any time ,they wont answer your emails it has totally messed my credit up to the point I may be forclosed on its a nightmare

Recently separated living on 1 income, contacted my mortgage company to get off forbearance , request modification .. Couldn't get return calls from lakeview mortage company.
Was contacted by Golden HOME , reviewed looked them up BBB didn't find any negative results at the time , JULY 2020.

Was told they could secure reduced %, Relinquish arrears, principal bal reduction, reduce my monthly payment from $1300.00 to $746.88. Payments sent to them $4718.48 suppose to be retainer and proof I could make the lower payments. This was to be settled by Sept/Oct or sooner as they promised to do their best moving file along. My last payment was sent in NOV. I advised them at that time there is no way I could keep sending them payments above the $746.88. Was advised not to worry the file was moving and all would be settled and my lower payment and % was approved , I would start making payments to Lakeview mortage company. During this wait time I received letter from mortgage company confirming my % was reduced and my new monthly payments would now be $951.00 reduced from org amount $349.00. NO REDUCTION ON PRINCIPAL and ARREARS now on the back half of my loan. REPEATED many many times I needed my payments to be between $700--$800. living on one income and need to eat , elect, car insurance , daily living expenses. Bring home pay $2000.00 ball park. now expected to pay $951.00 leaving $1000.00 to cover all other living expense. NOT only did they NOT do as promised , updated paperwork from Lakeview doesn't have my correct name . Contacted Golden home Dec 28,2021 finally about to reach Kim Kennedy, who told me she would have Kelly Preston contact me . IT is now Jan 12,2022 I have made many many calls sent many many emails with no replies from anyone at Golden HOme . Mortage company now sending my home to foreclosure. I have left voice mails on every phone number I have and emails to every address I have. Found thru BBB there have been complaints against this company , people have been refunded their monies . I supplied alot of personal information and details to help with my file to find it was a waste of time and the people at Golden HOme are liars.. enjoying the benefits of my payments and I have no solution at this time to keep my home. I will be filing complaint with BBB as well as contacting lawyer to see what legal action can be taken. Everyone at Golden Home should be held responsible for their actions , The owners of the business should be in jail and never allowed to open a business ever again. Im glad they are living the life while others who counted on them for help are now packing up their homes ,looking for a roof over their heads. For anyone on here who was successful I would love to know your secret , I can't get anyone to return my calls or emails. When all is said and done I hope Golden Home is out of business for good and all involved pays a very hefty fine and attachment to their names so never to be allowed in this type of business again.. I pray I will be able to get all my monies returned , which will then be sent to my mortgage company in hopes I can stay in my home I have been working very hard to keep.

Wow didn't knew this much going around just checking reviews. If I would have been here before I can bet I wont be dealing with them. But Better late than never. It was a adventurous experience working with Golden Homes as they said it would take like 3 - 4 months to finalize my Mod. Eventually it took them 7months to get me approved meanwhile I was dead sure I would be loosing my home and I've been mocked. They asked me to sit tight. Really appreciate there customer services and Compliance department they kept me updated. Weekly update what's going on how it would be moving forward and the best thing was that I got emails if I was not able to be on the phone however I was being updated. Thank you Golden Home Services America for getting me a good deal.

I started working with Golden Home Services America they Promised me I would be able to save money on my Mortgage with the lowest interest rate possible. they said its with a Relief program which can help me up to forgive my past dues and get me a better monthly payment plan which can help me up to save at least $600 a month. I did the math by my self and it was a saving for $7,200 annually it surely grabbed my attention. I started working with them they PROMISED me they could give me the deal what they are actually offering me at that point. it took time more than what I assumed they said it would take approximately 90 to 120 days but they took 6 months for a Mod Most of the time I lost my cool for being delayed. I kept calling them they used to say your file is under review it would be done be patient we are working on it Bla Bla Bla. At one point I thought they are just fooling me around and I'm done with them but after all they figured out to give me a saving for $550 a Month which is not bad. At least I'm saving something rather than nothing. Got a deal which is saving me $6,600 a year. They take too much time they don't deliver on the date they promise that's my only issue with them.

Omg I am so shocked to see all of these comments I cannot believe the things I am reading right Now I want to share my personal experience with this company I do not understand how people are saying this is a scam and even have the time to create this site just for that The last time I talked to one of their consultants was last Thursday and Im here to say I am satisfied with their services They were so straight up with me from the beginning it took longer than expected and many many times my husband even yelled at these poor ladies on the phone because we got desperate when it went longer than what the paper we signed said I am just glad we stuck with them and our modification went through. We got a lower payment of 1.87 percent I was paying 9.88 percent interest before. My payment was 1500 and now its 998. When COVID started my husband lost his job, and I only had a part time job at a pizza place, we got in a forbearance and Community Loan offered us a modification too but they only offered a 4 percent interest and the payment was only 120 less. Our family still couldnt afford that. Golden home said they were going to get us a 2.87 percent interest and instead they got us a 1.88 percent interest. They delivered and they got me and my family a Lower rate even lower than what they promised. My mortgage company then said I could have done this by myself and they were saying so many bad things about golden home but the truth is they confirmed that I now have a lower payment and that is all thanks to golden home. The last person I spoke with called me to say congratulations and helped me understand the conditions of my loan and they even took their time to explain everything to me. I didnt know anything about how the whole thing works but now thanks to them Im informed.
Believe when they tell you they can do this for you. I am referring my mother and mother in law to them cause I trust them. I would NEVER want my own mother to be scammed but I have proof that shes in good hands. I dont call this luck, I actually believe they deserve to be recognized for their good work and professionalism, my husband was a bit harsh to one of the ladies we spoke with and she was so professional never talked back and actually helped us a lot to understand what was going on.

Its really hard to explain what it feels when you're about to loose your home in which you've seen your Children growing in front of your eyes too many memories where your parents have spend there last days before leaving you. All these emotions are attached with your Home where you have spent your life. Due to this unforeseen circumstances COVID came up with. Lost my job got affected Medically Mentally Financially. My Bank took the home into Foreclosure and I was Many months behind. The last option my Bank offered me was to Pay up the Money or the Sale date was on his way. My Cousin recommended me of Golden Home Services America. Initially I didn't believed anyone can help me up but There's a will there's a way. They started working on my file and asked me to sit tight. They didn't only Saved me from Drowning they have helped me to forgive my Arrears and got me a deal I can't even imagine. I told many of my friends about it and they referred me to search for it. Got shocked too see the reviews. I don't know what is the catch here. What I know they worked on my file saved me thousands and my Home. I'm just thankful to them for what they have done for me. Just wanna say Don't believe on something written by anyone. I have been trying to get a hold of them and they have not returned my calls and they say that they agents are all busy to leave voicemail. We took a chance with them thinking that they are legitimate. We have dealt with a company similar to this one and the name was Clear Bay and they got us for our money and it seem this one did too. It sad how they people can take advantage of others in times in need that are hard for them. Taking advantage of them using this Covid to help them not those that are really needing help.

I was asked to post a review once they are done with my file. Just wanted you all to know, They have Restructured my loan and got me a very great Interest rate of 1.75% and monthly payments are now more affordable. It took me some time to get approved but at least they got me a better deal than my own servicer. My lender always declined my file due to my bad credit score and never helped me with any information regarding Hardship Programs from the Government, Thanks to my neighbors who told me about them. They are very professional and they DELIVERED what they PROMISED me. Best of luck Golden Home Services America you're doing a great job. I would rate you 5 out of 5.
