I received a check from Huntington Bank from Columbus, Ohio and a text message saying to deposit it right away. So I deposited it never cleared going to back today and let them know it is a scam. Some people. Just wanted to share.

KINDLY READ THESE GUIDELINES AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.
This is an instruction you will need to follow regarding your auto wrap campaign. A payment regarding the auto wrap campaign is sent with this letter. Please see guidelines below:
1: Payment of $3,850 will be delivered to you by a secure courier service (USPS)
2: Your first salary of $750 to be deducted from the total amount you receive which is for you to keep
3: As soon as you receive the Check payment for your campaign, go straight to your bank and deposit the Check at your bank. You will need to ascertain from the bank when the funds will be available to you for withdrawal in 24 Hours.
4: A copy of deposit receipt is needed to ascertain deposit and to give authorization to the issuing bank to release funds to your account. At the end of this letter is an email address and phone number to text your copy of deposit.
5: Also, A deposit receipt received on the day of delivery attracts $200 Amazon gift card which will be sent with your second week salary. This is an ongoing special offer. So, make sure once payment is received, make a deposit and send a copy of deposit receipt for the approval of the Amazon gift card worth $200.
6: Usually, check deposited same day will clear within 24 to 48 hours of deposit.
7: Once check is cleared, you will be receiving further instruction from the accounting department by email which will tell you which of the local installer you will be paying with the remaining balance on the check deposited. Money paid to the installers will enable them to set up an appointment with you on when to come and place the decal on your car. The money you will be paying is for the installation and to uninstall.

ANSWER: Campaign is for 10 weeks
2: Who will be responsible for removing the wrap at the end of the campaign?

3: How will I be receiving my weekly payment?

4: Why are you not paying the installer directly?

I received a notification online that if I use my car as an advertisement I would receive a check, send receipt of deposit and hold 1200 for installer to put decal on. Now deposit has been deposit and my bank wants 7000$ for a fraudulent check.

They got me all in but at the last minute I looked on the web to see if anything out there about UTZ car wrap scams and sure enough I found this site and others. I did however buy $3000 worth of money orders. I hope I can return to my bank when they figure out the check I deposited was a fake. Plus I have the address of where I was to mail money order. Maybe something can be done before someone finds themselves deeper in debt.

I received a text from a Thomas Larson:

To my surprise I received a Priority Mail on the 3rd with a check in the amount of $4973.85 along with a letter of instruction. I’m so glad I looked this up to see if this was legit. Definitely saved A LOT of heartache. Thanks for posting. Hope mine helps someone else.

I applied for an advertisement car decal to make some extra cash while driving around. Hoped it was legit but never heard anything back. Today I recieved a cashiers check via priority mail, in the amount of $4973.85. Was instructed to deposit in my account then send a deposit receipt to the number (via text) and email provided at the bottom of the letter, to give authorization to the issuing bank to release the funds. It also stated that $500 of the funds was my first weeks check and the remaining balance would be used to pay the installer. The letter says i will have to send the money to the installer before i can get an appointment with them. My letter also offered a $200 amazon gift card to be on my second salary. Once check clears I will receive further instructions from the accounting department by email. Campaign was for 10 weeks at 500 paid per week.

I didn't know it was a scam, my husband mentioned it so I sat down and researched it. First thing I did was look up the bank, PA Central Federal credit union and contacted them by text.
They advised me not to cash the check because it maybe a scam.
Then I found this site and started reading all the complaints. Boy I was disappointed, but glad I did my research and didn't cash the check.

Phone number is 631-623-0417 on the letter and its from Good Health Auto Wrap Campaign Program.
Check is issued from PA Central Federal Credit Union with an address of : 959 East Park Dr., Harrisburg, PA. 17111.
But it also says VIZO Financial Corporate Credit Union in Greensboro, NC 27409 on the front.

Figured this way to good to be true. Filled out for this easy cash in Nov 2020. Never heard of such a way to make money. Sorry but I don't do the internet very well until the last few months. Looking for a way to get a little extra money for the holidays trying to give my family a little extra after a horrible 2020. I even tried to get a small loan online but that was a lesson learned too. Scams everywhere it seems. I am so sad by the things I ran across. People taking from people they have no way idea how bad they can hurt them. My phone rings all day from a West side lending trying to get my info just to turn my down for a loan. It's the same man and sometimes a woman that call but never seem to remember they talked to me that morning or yesterday. Strongly though I'm also getting calls from Bangladesh now too. They come from all over the US according to my caller ID. Then last week I got this letter and check. I took it to my bank and they said right away it was fake. I wanted to know how we can find these people. These car wrap people and others that call u and I know these particular ones are scams. Where do I give these phone numbers to? My bank kept the check but I had them make me a copy. From what I've read here we all seem to have the same phone number to text them. Why can't someone find them and put them in jail and empty their accounts to repay those that got hurt. I changed my account number from anything I may have given it out to before I got a little smarter anyway. But I want these scammers held accountable. Anybody know who I can talk to? Otherwise my rant here and at my bank will be it. Any info I would appreciate. I don't like the way this world has gotten. These ones like this Utz r hitting hard. My check was for almost $9,000.
