My daughter also received the same letter from Good Health Positively Snackable with a “cashiers check” enclosed for $4,973.85 to cover the fee to place and remove the wrap advertising to our vehicles. The letter promises $500/week for 10 weeks just to drive normally with the wrap on the vehicle. The instructions for depositing and confirming deposit of the funds are suspicious: deposit the check, text a number (not in the same state the check was mailed from) with a picture of your deposit slip. Then once the check has cleared (true cashiers checks don’t take days to clear), you will receive instructions from the accounting department (very strange) by email (at no point have they asked for my email) at which time I will pay the authorized installer for the application of the wrap.
Call me crazy but 1) Nearly $5k to wrap a vehicle is expensive when it’s a big corporation dealing in bulk 2) Who in their right mind would EVER just give people thousands of dollars in good faith that they would actually go and have the vehicle wrapped 3) Why wouldn’t UTZ have an account set up with local shops and pay AFTER the work is confirmed completed. 4) In today’s world of high tech, no one deals in actual currency, transactions would never take place this way with this many steps and no digital trail.
I could go on and on, but the point is that this is a con, a scam and pretty convincing, especially during this pandemic when so many people are experiencing financial hardships. It is disgusting that there are groups of people that prey on others when they are at their most vulnerable times. I truly believe in Karma and this will come back 10 fold to all those involved. People just be decent, kind, and look out for one another...the world is messy enough all by itself!

I am a single mother raising 2 children on my own and now unemployed and trying to find a job. I have been applying for jobs through local employment websites and saw this offer for the auto wrap campaign through for Lutz snack food. I have received emails, texts stating the exact same thing as the other complaints and received the check and info in the mail today. How are people getting away with this? By filing a complaint is anybody looking into this matter or investigating our complaints to put a stop to these people. This is the second situation that I have had scammers try to get my information. Claiming that they are the Social security administration and that I have fraudulent activity on my social number and that my social security number has been suspended and that I need to call and confirm my social info.and if I do not return their call immediately they will issue a warrant for my arrest. I am in disbelief over the amount of scams that are going on today and claiming they are government officials. Sad world we live in when you cant trust anyone or anything anymore

Sent me a fake check and insured me guaranteed work for 10 weeks with a pay of $750 weekly. I checked in with the bank the check was not real they sent direct instructions on how they were going to scam me.

I received a text stating I quote: This is the phone number I received the text from 1-567-314-9280 "Hello, This is Mr. Beilke Kurt from UTZ QUALITY FOODS, this is just to notify you that your car has been shortlisted and approved for the UTZ QUALITY FOODS Advertising Program and your payment has been mailed out via USPS Priority mail which will be getting delivered into your mailbox on Wednesday 4th-Thursday 5th with a letter of instructions on how to go about things. Kindly check your mailbox often and do follow the instructions in the package as soon as you receive it. Thank you"
I was sceptical so I examined the check very closely come to find out if you turn it over there is a box that states to scratch to make sure it is authentic well well to my surprise you could scratch nothing because it was fake. The instructions were for me to deposit the check and to black out all personal information. I was to keep $750 for week pay and the rest for the installation of the wrap and I would get a email or call to make an appointment with the installer. I was also told to send a deposit slip and it would have all the information they needed.
I tore it up and threw it away. If they contact me again I will be calling them out on this scam. All be aware of the scammers out in this world they know we are all vulnerable right now with the pandemic. If its to good to be true its a scam.

Received a check fora car wrap deal I was supposed to pay for some one to do the installations and was told to make 3 cashiers checks of a 1000 ea so i deposited but still pending for $3000 and has not cleared for almost a week now found out today its a fake don't be fooles

Just got a check a few days ago however instead of rushing to my bank the wife and myself decided to do some homework. What I found out saved us pain, anguish, and lost of money. Sad! No way I'm going through this. Someone needs to prosecute. I work hard to support my family if I was to honor this we would've lost big.

If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. I was contacted by Kevin Reed from UTZ QUALITY FOODS for an advertising campaign to have my car participate in this campaign with a car wrap. $750 a week. Kevin Reed notified I was selected referred me Co-Ordinator JOSHUA BUTLER. Their by received an envelope from UPS with a check for $3850 from EDMAR CORPORATION DBA BISSEL BIGGREEN COMMERCIAL. Which is a vacumn cleaner distributor. Not UTZ QUALITY FOODS. Return address on the envelope VOLLA JONE LLP 30 S 17TH STE 210, ONCE AGAIN NOT UTZ RED FLAGS EVERWHERE! THIS IS A SCAM

Igota check from Good Health (Lay's promotional campaign) in the amount of $4,973.85 written on a SAFE (FEDERAL CREDIT UNION), in Sumter, SC 29151. Deduct 500.00 for upfront for week salary. Then $500.00 a week for the length of campaign. $5,000 for having a decal on my car for 10 weeks?

Before I cashed the check I checked with a bank representative and was told that the check was a fake.

Thankfully I didn’t cash the check , I’ve been trying to upload pictures of check , letter and priority mail package but phone won’t do it . I hope no one falls for this scam. Check says original document on back , on front says official check only has Bankfirst with no address amount says $4,973.85 authorized signature: Summer Duglas #63T actually last name looks like it’s spelled with DWglas or Duiglas Remitter: says Cheryl Gaudrea check number 183432 dated 10/05/2020 . Letter says to deposit check then send copy of deposit to [email protected]

The original message got in a text. then got letter & Payment $4,973.85 with instructions, which also inform of the compensation to received on weekly basis 500.00 and the 500.00 out the payment . instruct me to buy the money orders 4x1000.00 then 1 @400.00

they then send me the actual FEDEX label which also has the purchase of FedEX slip.. Originally, wanted me take the extra which to be like $70 plus dollar for mail thru FEDEX. but when i did not make to the FEDEX they sent me label. So they say once the check has cleared to following the instructions mailing. then states the account department will follow with email. but i had to send pictures of the money orders I purchased. Inform to go the post office however the information they ask for did have all at the moment try to purchase 4money order at $1k each 1 for 400.00. unable to do. then said go to Walmart, which i did and sent copy of receipt show purchased. this money was to go to /be mailed to the said in stallers that would wrap the car. once they received the payment. the campaign is for 10 week they say .
