The email communication with this breeder was slow at first, but then sort of responsive to the point where we were able to pay a $400 deposit via Zelle for a female vizsla puppy. We were so happy we found a new potential family member and my heart was so happy. The breeder claimed to have services included in purchase to have the puppy delivered via nanny straight to our home. This is where they lost us. We were given no flight information, nanny information, or delivery service information. They would not answer our questions about the puppy's birthdate, what food she was eating, and their overall process for purchasing a dog. Eventually they got us a bill of sale, as well as shipping information.
The breeder handed us off to EMS shipping https://ems-shipping.com/ which I found is a fake website that looks like this official website: https://www.ems.post/en
The breeder then out of nowhere let us know we would be required to pay $1600 for insurance for the plane ride for the puppy. At this point we had no flight info, no questions answered, no information, and obviously felt very unsettled. When we called the shipping company (EMS) a man answered that sounded particularly like the breeder on the phone. When we asked the shipping company questions they back stepped and worked around the answers. They did know which dog we were having shipped by name when I gave our order number, and hung up on us a couple times. We are working with the bank to get our money back, but this really broke my heart.
These people claim to have a whole family filled with people who love dogs and vizslas and they are really taking advantage of people and these dogs. I just hope these dogs are in safe homes, and they have stolen the photos of them.
