I am a real estate investor. I started a business using credit cards in my personal name. I was contacted by Tassler Matthew Adam 12/3/2020 regarding his company that offers business loans. I submitted an application 12/14 after looking up their company information. I found their information as registered on Texas business site with license # 0800299536. I was contacted 12/15 and notified that I was approved for $50,000. 12/15, I was also advised that I needed to send proof of ID and paystubs which I did. 12/16 I wired them the loan origination fee of $1950 and was told the funds would be released 12/17; however, they were not. I received another email 12/18 stating that I had to pay an insurance fee on the funds before the funds would be released. I sent 2050 on 12/19 with the agreement the funds would be released 2hours after receipt. They were not. Instead, I was sent a notification that Hamilton Funding was being charged 10K from their bank in fees for excessive transactions and was asked to send more money. At this point, I requested my refund. I was told that Andrea Hamilton had to speak to her board of directors. I messaged them and was told that they funds could be refunded, but it would not be until the end of January or February before that could happen because of the freeze on their account. I opted to wait. I received several calls, texts, emails during that time begging me to send 2155$ so that other investors with them could also receive their funds. I declined. At one point, I agreed to attempt to send the money, but I called their bank and was told they do not have an account that charges that much for excessive transaction fees after I received a text message that their bank was extending their hold to March meaning that I would not get my funds until March. I received a notice from my bank on Jan 28 inquiring whether the wires were fraudulent and that their bank was requesting verification and additional information. I responded and asked that my bank assist with returning my funds. My bank responded stating that they could not reach the their bank, BBVU. I called their bank and was on hold for over 45mins. Several messages ensued. February 17, I again requested my refund. I was told that the board of directors would be notified. February 24th I followed up and was told it would cost me 765$ because they needed to pay their lawyer to release my refund. Since then, they refuse to release my refund unless I pay 765$ or 2155$ to have the loan funded. I have emailed my mentor advising him of the dishonesty of this company and their scam. When they found out, they became angry and continues to refuse to refund my money.
