Herdwick’s basset hounds is a complete and total Scam!

I paid this guy “Garrick” a 300$ deposit for a basset hound by the name of “Brutus” after paying we agreed that my wife and her father would be in Atlanta to pick the dog up in 3 day with the remainder of the payment for the puppy... anyhow by the time my wife arrived in Atlanta he said he was not able to meet due to a “3 day workshop” he was attending in tennesse... and that we should have called to let him know we were coming... I told him my wife would be there in 3 days and he agreed... never showed and couldn’t get through the number they gave me after that... total scam beware! Luckily I didn’t pay the full price only his “Deposit”

We contacted them through email and they told us that if we tranfered the money through Zelle they would send us our puppy. Thank goodness we just sent part of the money yesterday and they are still waiting for the rest. We asked them if they could give us our money back and they said they don't have ir anymore. I told them that in their website says 100% money back guarantee. Still waiting.

I reached out for a puppy. He responded and the English was off... his punctuation in his emails wasn’t right. He required a deposit to even go see the dog which wasn’t right. I felt it was a scam but decided to see how much info I could get before reporting him. I asked for an address to send a certified check to. He of course insisted they don’t do that and I needed to download the Zelle app. He did give me an address which took me to a vets office. I called there and they confirmed they have had several similar calls and it is indeed a scam. Their owner is working on trying to put it to a stop. I forwarded all my correspondence to them via email for evidence. Please don’t fall for this scam. Basset hounds go quickly once word gets out of a litter... it is a red flag that he has so many “available” puppies all the time.

Sent 750.00 dollars for puppy. Then I was informed the puppy needed a special shipping container that required AT LEAST A THOUSAND DOLLAR DEPOSIT. I refused to pay for the carrier and was told I would be refunded. No refund, no dog. From my experience do not do business with these SCAMMERS!

Fake Bassett hound breeder. Address given was a construction site. Only accepts payment through Venmo. Venmo account given - @Corey -Thompson-137. When I said I could pick up in person, communication ended.
