HCSS Grant is a SCAM.

The agents picture is in Facebook- Patrick Waters Sr. Really sweet talked me where I let my guard down n fell in love with him. Gave him all my pertinent infos, sent numerous vanilla gift cards, etc. Later after grant was never delivered bcas I didn't have bank acct, which my bank closed down on me. Now this man has stopped texting me or responding to my texts. I really was a fool. I was hacked, scammed n identity thief by them. Have to start my 65 yrs old life again with nothing n will b homeless.

I was messaged by a friend on Facebook about the home care and family support grant. I gave them my name address and birthday. Than they asked me for money for them to give me money. They called it a shipping fee. After that I started asking my so called friend on Facebook personal questions that she would know. But she did not answer. I knew that she wasn't my friend. The agent that she sent me too was Lydia Adams. I blocked both of them. Is there anything I can do to make sure my identity does not get stolen or if they have tried anything. Thank you.

They contacted me through a friend of mines FB page wanting to know if I had heard about this Grant and I said no, they are alon asking me for more info about me and I gave them my name and address saying that I don't have to payback this money and I would just have to give the messenger $300 for delivering the money. They now have my name and address.

Was approached by Carol Smith. Said it was home care working with Facebook told me i qualify and i needed to pay fees of $150 to start the process im not sure how to contact her just through messenger Carol Smith says she is a government offical. This is cruel to tell someone they won money then ask for fees to recieve it please contact me at [email protected] am interested in appling for grant a legitimate grant any information on how to do that would be very helpfull

This person I know personally, had shared the information about a grant,I applied sending my information,my identity card and my and social security card ,then the person asked to send them a $250 process fee,I told them I didn't have the money, something in my head said this can't be right, grants are free now my identity and social security number is out there and whoever these people are I hope they get caught

I was sent a link to my Facebook messenger from a Facebook friend, His name is Nate Jones,he sent me a link I applied to the link,for a grant to help me with my rent and bills I did the application,I've submitted my state id front and back,I've also submitted my social security number, after doing so ,I received a email saying I was approved for a $50,000 dollar grant,they also have my bank card information because they said I had to pay a $250 dollar fee ,I gave them my bank information under the impression the money was going to be deposited in my account,I didn't have$250 but they have all my information, please help me,so these people don't use my personal information ,I did My little research,to find out that I was being scammed,my identity is my life, please help me

The HCFSG scam has happened more than once to me. I haven't gone to the full extent of following through, because I was able to tell right away the first time when the language was unprofessional, I know the government is fully professional. I am on social security for my disabilities and I know that you can't have more than $2,000 in your account for a full calendar month. I also have had plenty of scam text's telling me on my phone that I qualify for SSDI and I don't have that type of benefit because you need 40 work credits. I am not going to fall for these games. I feel like I can not trust anything online anymore.

Received a messenger through a friend's account that I believe was hacked. It said to text the claim agent to apply for home care money (325) 276-3783. Text him now and let him know a beneficiary informed you and you want to apply for the grant program going on.

I inquired about the agent's name and website, no response of the agent and no known website to verify the information of the grant.

About a couple of weeks ago, a friend messaged me through Facebook Messenger (IM) asking me if I got my HCFSG money (Home Care Family Support Grant) because she received $100,000.I was to text her for more info. I did and got a video of someone from the Philippines holding wads of money. They asked me if I wanted a check or cash. Then I got another IM from somebody else saying she got $80,000 from the Catalogue of Federal Domestic Assistance. I was directed to go to any store and buy $300 worth of Amazon activation cards. I said I need to contact somebody, Julie said "You don't need to contact anybody, just do what the Federal agent says". She kept insisting I wouldn't lose anything, and that the money would not affect my disability payments. I drove to Krogers, and the clerk explained I had to buy the card. I went back to my car, and called the scammer. She said "Yes, you need to put $300 on the card". I said I'm not going to do that. Now they are IMing me about why I'm not talking to them and asking if I am there and whether something is wrong. I am on disability. I didn't think it was right that the government would ask someone on disability to pay $300.

I received a FB message through a friend, telling me about something wonderful that happened to her. She applied for the Home Care and Family Support Grant by texting a number. The 'grant' was for $100,000,00 (the number in the text). I gave general information through text. My 'friend' kept contact with me while I texted back and forth with the 'agent' because I became increasing uneasy about getting 'free' money.

The tip-off came when the 'agent' told me to buy Amazon gift cards in the amounts of $550 at the local store and then their organization would convert them to cash when I sent them the gift cards.

I did not buy any gift cards and I have not lost any money, thank goodness. I was tempted to trust a 'friend' and therefore, ignore my instincts.

A personal friend on Facebook send me a greeting how are you etc. we sent messages back and forth catching up on our personal life. For me it was my health issues. She then told me about a federal government program called home care and family support grant. Gave me a name and phone number to text that I was interested. Which I did. Then and a list of questions to answer. Which I did: such as name address date of birth drivers license. why I needed money. Then I was approved for grant money of $85,000. And they asked for a processing fee of $750. That’s when I realized it was a scam. And they perused me. Until I block him.

A friend from church informed me that my name was on the list of winners of the Home Care and Family Support Grant. Her name is *** ***. She says that she received $150,000 and asked me if I got my money also because my name was on the list of winners. I never heard of this. She gave me the fax number so I could check to see if my name is still on the list of winners. I texted 2403450032 and received a reply that I am a winner and that my money is available for claiming.

This person, Allen Morgan scams a person's Facebook picture, and then uses Messenger to wave at you. He initiates a conversation , posing as your friend to tell you the good news that they just got $100,000 mailed to them in cash the next day. I was able to get an email , and also recorded calls by making him call me back , pretending my connection was bad. He sounds African American.

On August 14...I was approached thru FaceBook..by a newly added relative to apply for a Home Care and Family Support Grant. She said she received $100,000.00 cash thru FedEx. I was told it would cost $100.00 for processing fee...it was reduced to $50.00 as I told them I did not have the 100.00 dollars. This guy On Facebook claiming to be an Govt Agent contacted me...said everything was processed and I was told to submit an ID and my address. I did..because relying on my cousin receiving money..anyway... the man Lupe Castillo said he needed an additional 100.00 I told him I do not have it...he said something about the IRS...and said money wad needed for a Stamp for FedEx to get me by money. He told me the 100.00 was paid by the Headquarters to help me but the money would have to be put in my bank account! I was getting more suspicious and I said I would go to the bank because he wanted me to take a pic of my bank card! I did not! He said No don't go to the bank. Don't tell them anything..please catch thus guy! He is on FaceBook. I should have known better...thank you and please investigate him ..he should go to Jail and all those involved...
