I have had my business Hardy Field painting closed down for quite a while now, on 01/08/2022. I had lost the use of my computer, and had to get another, had not opened my outlook in almost a year and 3 months. when I finally got another computer given to me by my friends mother, my first computer was given by my friend. Imagine my surprise when I opened up my outlook to find jobs being sent to me by multiple different companies for a company called Harmony Home Designs.( not Hardy Field Painting) Not only that but from the same phone number I received Harassing phone calls and calls trying to fish my social security number and saying I could get $50,000.00 in funds for my company because I had to shut down because of COVID, but instead of it being Hardy Field Painting it was Harmony Home Designs being run under my name. ( or my name was given multiple times and my e-mail) whoever it is went so far as to use my old phone number for my company as well. This person is a fraud and I have nothing to do with them at all, when I saw the photo of the woman, we don't even look alike and I never saw here before in my life. I am still trying to figure out how she hacked my email, was getting job offers and money sent by some kind of service via my email and other items sent by a money transfer company for me to receive some kind of payment from them. I blocked the email and sent it back, I have no idea who these people are and why they are using my information, but they have been and I only wonder if they have used my name in anything else dealing with their or another business.

I hired a contractor through Angie's list and his name was Bobbie to tuck point my chimney.  I asked for a estimate for all the work that needed to be done for the chimney and the roof.  He continued to say that he would give me a good deal.  Finally he said that it would be $6000.00 I had already given him $1200.00.  He took off and he did not even pay the tuck pointers.  They did the chimney and the wall but they did nothing to the roof.  I gave him  $6681.56.  Every time I call him he says that he is out of town.  He groomed me, he came in asking personal questions that he should have not been asking especially about how beautiful my skin is.  I also notice him walking around my house looking at my house from the alley.

A man came to our door saying he was redoing driveways in the neighborhood and that he could add ours to the roster and he could get us a deal. We agreed upon a price and did a handshake and and estimate was given on company letterhead. The company started prepping our driveway and throwing broken blacktop chunks in our yard. They came back the next day. Told us we needed to pay cash, not check like they originally said. They did the work, albeit shotty. We tried to negotiate about the cash and use check instead they said no. We gave them the cash. They had agreed to take the waste away. They did not take it day of. We called and they said by Sunday. No one came Sunday, called again and said Monday, no one came Monday. We talked to our neighbors who also used them and they also had the same exact experience. They told them they would pick up waste Tuesday. We called again last night and no one answered. The website seems fake and now we are left with a pile of blacktop in our yard. They also left personal garbage in our can. The driveway is done but not the best quality. We supposedly have a 5 year warranty but are doubting anyone will show up. The man we talked to was most likely Irish, late 40's to 50's Brian. Also a man went by David according to his email.

Carlos Vargas is a general contractor who works in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. He did illegal work on my house and ran off with $25,000.00.

I got a card in my mail as described in the scamtracker report and went on their website to fill out their application. After filling it out I looked and saw there was little information on the website and decided to look them up. They have not contacted me yet.

Received several letters from US BK NAND, Home Warranty Division using scare tactics, stating that the victim's home warranty was about to expire (they didn't have the warranty), and that if they didn't respond the warranty would lapse and they would be responsible for any major home repairs. Letters started about 9 months ago with a Registration Fee Voucher ($199.00) attached and a request to call them. Received 4 or 5 since, with the last couple stating they were "Final Notices".

He agreed to paint my home. I gave him half to start. He came for a couple of days and then said he needed some more money to get the paint. He never returned or responded to my phone or text messages.

Scammer came to home to install cameras stated was sent by a person I know to install door bell and cameras. I told them I know the person but have no idea why the person would have camera and door bell installed at my home. The person then leaned back on the porch and looked at the window to the left. Person only identified themselves as being from the geek squad. Person did not provide identification or name but had me to confirm my address. Once I did that person leaned back on the porch and looked at the window to the left. Person then called the person and closed the doors of his van which was parked backwards in the driveway about 2 feet or a little closer from the garage door entrance with the doors open to the van. .luckily that was closed and I was here to answer the door.

I did talk to the person who stated the person was at the wrong address. Service offered was doorbell and cameras. It was a very scary encounter.

Large postcard came in mail states "all services provided by national residential improvement association (NRIA) are free to consumers". Also states "Property owners in your area qualify for a free program administered by the Nation Residential Improvement Association (NRIA) which helps homeowners with needed home improvements through Regional NRIA Authorized Contractors who provide assistance with programs that may help pay for improvements your home needs. Regional NRIA Authorized Contractors provide all labor, materials and warrantees based upon qualifications and eligibility requirements for these programs". Also states "Programs are available for a variety of household incomes and credit scores".

the call came to my work cell phone. I listened when I answered and there was a bleep then someone identifying himself as Brian Lee from Superior Home Project and that he was on a recorded line. I hung up. I called back on my office phone (land Line) and I said it's good you are on recorded line and that he needed to not call my cell anymore and that we were a business. I may have said , go find a real job and that McDonalds was hiring. Then i hung up the landline.

Christopher Truitt (from whom I had previously rented a Uhaul truck) told me that he knew a construction worker who could help me with some work on my property. He asked for $800 in advance to cover the cost of materials which I sent him via Zelle in two transactions on 2/27/23 and 03/13/23. Mr. Truitt stated that he would be in charge of all financial transactions and not the contruction worker. This was a verbal agreement done in good faith and no contract. My project start date was postponed several times because the worker claimed he was busy on other jobs and never started my job. Chris told me that the worker had purchased the materials; however, no materials were left on my property nor could he produce a receipt for alleged materials. I asked Chris for the worker's number so I could contact him directly about my project. He hesitated and sent it to me two hours later, only after I left him a voicemail stating that I wanted my money back. After realizing I was dealing with a scam artist, I asked him for an immediate refund of my materials fee on 02/28/23 and told him I no longer wanted to do business with him. He agreed (via text) to give me my money back; however, I have yet to receive my refund 12 days later. I have made multiple attempts to contact Chris via phone, text, and email, but he does not pick up my calls or respond to messages. I sent him two certified letters on 05/05/23 to his home and business addresses asking him to contact me to resolve this matter. I have yet to receive a reply to the letters as well. He, basically, stole $800 from me and I simply want it returned to my account as he said that he would. In additon, under further investigation, neither Mr. Truitt nor the construction worker that he recommended to me have a contracting license. Court records show that Mr. Truitt has 19 court records on file.

10+ reviews of same exact thing. They are a pool company that took my money. Never showed up. 30+ no shows . Charged me for empty, acid wash and filtration system and new vacuum . I did all of it , pool is green, never serviced and I was blocked. Never sent any techs out.

He told me he was a licensed carpenter for Emory Sap in Son's.  He came over to my house.  He screwed up my deck and I had to ask him to leave.  He does not know what he is doing.  Anyone looking at his work he can not  level and square.  His real name is Chip Andeale Murray.  He just got out of prison.  I started researching him on next door and other individuals are having similar issues with this person as well.  I looked this person up on Case Net , and he has a long record. We had a agreement that I would pay him $450 dollars with a money order.  He did not want to give his name he gave me the name of his girlfriend that was working with him and her name is Saraiah Biegel.  She herself has a bit of a record.  He messed up a lot of the lumber that I had purchased.  He tore my steps completely off.  He did not cut them correctly.

Chamblee Home Improvement has taken thousands of dollars from multiple people. After the scammer receives the payment he doesn't complete the work. DO NOT HIRE HIM.

Someone is scamming using the business name: Magnum Property Management. This is an American company and does not exist in Canada. Someone is using this business name receiving cash for snow removal services. They are using my business address as their "Magnum Property Management" headquarters.

However, they do not perform any services and go missing. I am getting mail to my business address mentioning that I must perform the services or refund the cash.

I answered my door and white male around 40-50 told me, he was in the area and saw my sidewalk needed repair (it did). Told him sidewalk was city responsibility. He said he saw my broken steps off driveway and had extra cement and could fix with about 30 cubic feet of cement. I gave verbal OK and when he was finished said price was higher due to more cement needed. Price was 1100 and he make me receipt, then apparently picked it up and took it with him. I went to bank and got cash - as he asked and did not want to give him check anyway due to possible fraud on my account. I went on my neighborhood watch site and described person and truck and 4 others responded had tried to scam them. I usually do not answer my door and use cameras but was foolish for some reason.

I contacted bellevueappliace.com via phone, provided my info, then tranferred me to "Dominique Moore" the tech, we made an appt, he arrived to my house, said he did not have the parts to fix my appliances, but could do the job in 1 week. I paid the $365 for parts and labor, and "Dominique" never showed back up. After repeated calls, I gave up and considered the money lost. what a scam.
