The scam uses a photograph of your home and suggests the mail is from a"county deed records" -- it targests elderly and the uneducated.

Received a card in the mail from: County Deed Records from Home Warranty Direct 800-301-5412 . I called the ph# & Nathan answered & asked for Record ID#. Respond by June 30th.

When I said "No" that I thought he was working for a scammer. He got made mad & creepy & started to yell at me & hung up

Has a Spanish phone line also& lines available

Signature required for redemption

You receive a pink “Final Notice” in the mail saying that your properties home warranty may be expiring or may have already expired. They can’t tell you which of those two it is because when I called they had no idea. They even list the name of your lender on your “final notice” even though that may not be the lender you’ve had for the last 10 years, so your info may not even be current. The letter contains the usual shameful, scammers tactics and language to invoke fear:

“We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage after 5 days.”

“You may still have time left to activate a warranty on your home before it’s too late.”

“Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED US to get your Home Warranty up to date.”

“Without a home warranty in place, you are at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs.”

A letter to someone that visited my place was sent to his attention saying the home warrantee was due. This is terrible, this person is NOT the owner and caused stress. this is a total scam and needs to be stopped.

I have been receiving this type of communication repeatedly and it needs to be stopped. I know they aren't legitimate, but so many people, elderly, young adults, etc., are easy pray. Obviously it must be financially worthwhile to these scammers since they keep popping up.

I hope that the ScamPulse.com can do something more to put these criminals out of business.

This place is complete Fraud. They will try to tell you that you have no insurance in your home, don't freak out! They are liers!, I had to call my own home insurance to verify. Once you caught them trying to steal from you they are extremely disrespectful! Someone named Cynthia in the Spanish customer service was extremely rude and disrespectful. I also spoke to a manager named Brett he was a complete joke and thief. Please stay away from this people! They will take your money and you will never get it back. Funny fact is that they wanted $380 a month for 3 years. This is a complete Joke!.

I received a green colored suspicious looking "TIME SENSITIVE" notice that required an immediate response or my Home Warranty "may be expiring". There is no website I could find. The address in the small print at the bottom is a UPS store in Tustin, California. They have the right name but our mortgage company sold our receivables to another loan company and totally got that one wrong. Home Warranty, in my opinion, does not cover hot water heaters, air conditioners, refrigerators, or furnaces. We have different warranties for each appliance if we chose to get them. From what I have been reading online, it would make more sense to set aside an emergency fund to manage the maintenance costs associated with these appliances. A true home warranty would cover the framework, possible defects in workmanship in how the house was built, the foundation, electrical wiring, roofing materials, etc. . It would be ideal if these scam artists were shut down and not allowed to take advantage of people who are frightened with these claims of urgency for coverage that does not exist. BUYER BEWARE! Do your homework and Do NOT call this company.

THIS COULD EASILY BE A SCARE TACTIC TO MORE VULNARABLE PEOPLE.

Similar to above - PINK letter stating "final notice" and "revoke eligibility" as well as reference to my name, address, mortgage holder, etc.

I called and they could not tell me anything solid or concrete (regardless of how I asked the question) about how they got my info or why this was my "final notice".

Letter lists: Home Warranty Resolutions / Home Warranty Dept / Home Warranty Solutions. I was told verbally they were the same as Integrity Warranty but have not researched or verified.

SUMMARY: deceptive fear based marketing tactics - they should be jailed for running such an intentionally dishonest business!

NEW HOME WARRANTY

Final Notice to renew home warranty. Listed as from my mortgage loan holder-Third Federal.

Called Third Federal-they did not send me this letter.

These [censored] should be wiped from the face of the earth!!!!

Their number: 1-800-871-0249

I called them and told them I was upset about the letter. They told me "it's nothing to be upset about."

Somehow they got my name and my bank information.

This was definitely a threat to my privacy. This could be such a scare for someone older and fragile. They need to cease this exploitation of seniors.

The contents of their letter does not apply to me, so I ignored it.The Better Business Bureau grades this company as an F and received numerous complaints.
The company repeatedly mails a green "FINAL NOTICE" and "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE REQUESTED" letter from "NEW HOME WARRANTY, Home Warranty Dept, with no return address, but "Mailed From Zip Code 92799" on the "PRSRT STD, U.S. Postage Paid" mark on the envelope ("Permit No. 699"). "Home Warranty Administered by Home Warranty Solutions" is in tiny print at the bottom of the letter.
It includes the following: a customer ID number starting with NHW, a Notice Date: 02/05/2021, a Respond By: 02/23/2021, a Contact Phone: 1-800-871-0249, and Lender Info: BANK ONE NA. (That bank no longer does business under that name, changed owners twice, and is a Chase Bank now.)
The letter says: "Call to verify the above information," then "...the property's home warranty, at [address], secured by [bank name], may be expiring or may have already expired. Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us yet to get your Home Warranty up to date. Please Call IMMEDIATELY s this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU. ...you are at risk of being financially liable for any and all repairs. ...activate a warranty on your home before it's too late. No inspection will be required and final acceptance is subject to ... eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to revoke your eligibility for service coverage after 5 days."
"Operating Hours: Mon.-Fri. 8 am to 8 p, Sat. 10 am to 4 pm, CST." "EXTREMELY URGENT & TIME SENSITIVE..." "NO FINANCE CHARGES APPLYMTOMTHIS OFFER."
A chart lists 4 "Examples of Repair/Replacement Costs" plus 3 "Types of Coverages Available." A phone number given for spanish speakers is 888-823-2694.
Ends with: "Not all consumers have previous coverage. We are not affiliated with your current mortgage holder."

They sent a pink letter saying home warranty is expiring and asked for card information. This is all fake. When I called to cancel or get a refund they said they would call back and hung up the phone.

A letter was sent, in pink paper, indicating "Final Notice" The letter indicated my bank as the lender yet they had another person's name as the homeowner. This struck a red flag, I called them asked why they had this person listed as the homeowner and if they were affiliated with my bank. The young man kept on asking if I knew this person, I didn't confirm nor deny, so then he gave me a long story about how they were the "intermediate" between my bank and the warranty provider. I politely asked to remove the address and wrong name off their mailing list and that I would contact my bank with this information. He hung up!

This letter is addressed to someone who has never had a loan or lived at this property, simply their mail has been forwarded to the listed address

Final Notice Letter home warranty at address ********** is about to or has already expired. Call immediately as this will be our final notice to get you Home Warranty up to date.

They keep mailing notices with fear tactics such as "Final Notice", home warranty may expire soon, financial risks of no warranty, etc. I TRULY HOPE THIS IS THEIR FINAL NOTICE.

I received a letter in mail for warranty for my home appliances such as AC unit and plumbing. Letter included the company I financed my home through. Being a first time home buyer I called and they said I would have to pay 150 initially then 175 per month for 18 months and the coverage would last 3 years. Once someone posted in the subdivision facebook group that it was not affiliated with my finance company I called in order to cancel. The person on the phone said they had to get approval from higher up and that he would call me back. I never received a phone call. I googled the company name and phone number and nothing came up. I had to cancel my card and get another one.
