Homeland Security Imposter Website Reports & Reviews (1)

- Aspen, CO, USA

I went to globalentry.com, thinking I was applying for Global Entry; but .com is SCAM site! (I have since found correct Homeland Security site and applied), I filled in very personal information on what seemed to be a valid form, including passport# w/issuance date and expiration date, then I got a strange text from a 407-250-9309 # with quadruple questions asking passport issuance date and passport expiration date, and I then got suspicious and looked up that 407 a.c. number at top of the text, and here it says it is a SCAM!!; I should have know when a valid credit card was declined four times at end of form, asking that I go back and check the fields on my application form, which I did, then I finally input a different card and it was stated that application was processed succcessfully, and I was charged the $280 to that second card; so I then called that credit company, who show $281.54 was pending from A D V D CONS* Global Entry, so had to cancel my card and request a new card be expedited! I also called the first credit card that kept saying on the SCAM app that it had been declined four times, and put a security hold for a week on that card to be sure no charges from that A D V D CONS* Global Entry would be charged to my card

I also texted the 407 a.c.# above that I had reported their text to BOTH credit card companies as FRAUD!; but MOST UPSETTING is that this bogus globalentry.com has all my personal information, and what can I possibly do about that?! ***** ****** ************ *****************
