He advertises custom woodworking such as live edge tables as well as machinery, equipment and building materials on Facebook Marketplace and other local community sale pages. The woodworking pictures are not actually his. Many of his victims are military families.
A quick google search of Justin (Craig) Likout Hawaii or any of his three businesses brings up a long list of crimes and reports of scams across the country.
His prices are very reasonable and he even sprinkles in discounts here and there to sweeten the deal. Once you are ready to make the deposit he sends an invoice and only accepts payment via cash, Apple Cash or Cashapp. At that point he says he will begin work. He even checks in from time to time to update you.
He will set up a delivery date.
He will not show.
He will have an excuse.
He will set up another delivery date.
He will not show.
There’s another excuse.
This goes on and on and on until eventually you call him out and demand a refund.
Once you call him out and ask for your money back he gets belligerent and aggressive. He tries to accuse you of harassment if you are angry and acts like you are attacking him. He will not stop messaging you. He threatens to sue or call the cops. If you are military he threatens to call your commander. HE DOES NOT ISSUE A REFUND despite numerous requests.
Police report has been filed.
