Someone called in December and said they were with our TV provider Dish Network and they were doing a one time upgrade for the cost of $149 I gave them my CC info and thought nothing of it. In fact they confirmed receipt of payment while on the phone. Then the next day someone called again to tell me of another upgrade and wanting more money. That made me suspicious so I called my provider Dish and they confirmed that was not them that called. I called my CC company right then and got the payment stopped from the day before. The numbers that came up on my caller ID belonged to ordinary citizens that had no idea their number was used in that manner. They continue to call on my wife's cell and our home phone. We just don't answer. I also called the police department which in turn told me to report to the BBB.
