At least 3 times daily we get a phone call with a recording by a women that says that we will be sued by the IRS and we need to call this number back right away.

Yesterday's number they used 202-657-5121

Today's number they used 210-767-3321

We don't pick up but the let the machine pick it up.

I received three phones with a lady on a recording saying it was the IRS and they were filing a suit against us. We needed to call 206-317-1281. I knew the IRS would not make this kind of call thanks to the news stations. I wanted to let you know about this and to give you the phone number. I hope this number helps to catch and/or stop them.

Scammer calls from IRS to say that your name has been added to a lawsuit. The next time the call comes some two hours later the scam repeats and states that your case will go to court. The scam calls again and says that the call is because of an audit.

I received a phone call from someone claiming to be the IRS regarding back taxes and wanted immediate payment of $5K, They threatened to shut down my bank accounts if I didn't pay immediately. The phone number the person called from was 253-843-6324. This was clearly a scam. I have never received anything in the mail regarding anything alluding to back taxes nor am I guilty of such an act.

I received a call that stated the following. This call is officially and final notice from IRS, Internal Revenue Service regarding and enforcement action executed by the US Treasury intending your serious attention. Ignoring this will be an intentional 2nd attempt to avoid an initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense to resolve this issue immediately and to speak to a federal agent call back on our department number 206-400-2836

I keep getting calls from people saying they are from the IRS, and this is my last chance before they file a lawsuit against me. We are getting calls on our home phone and also on my cell phone.

The number they left for me to call back on is 1-808-220-3763. They want to pull my case file, so they need the last 4 digits of my social security number. I told them I didn't give my social security number out over the telephone.

They also asked me if I had received a letter from the IRS and I told them no.

Two Gentleman called me and said they were an officer with the IRS and that i had failed to pay the IRS the amount they needed from 2007-2014. They instructed me that i would be arrested and taken to jail if i didn't comply with their requests. They wanted me to go to my bank and deposit $1,000 and then they would tell me how to make a payment.

Received a call stating that a warrant had been issued for my arrest by the IRS and this was my last chance for resolution and that if I did not respond, the police would be sent. The number they called was a business number and when I called them back and asked who they were trying to reach, they refused to give a name and then hung up on me.

A gentleman called my phone today (03-10-16) and informed me that he was the IRS and that I was wanted in a lawsuit for tax evasion for the year 2008 - 2009 but as I explained to him I have not worked since 2001. He immediately said he would take my name off the list. I pressured him for more information and he actually admitted being a scam artist. He then proceeded to ask me what I eat for breakfast and at that time told him thank you for your honesty but this call is now over and I hung up and now emailing you to let you know the phone # 1-716-226-2556...no name. He refused to give me his name and I asked him several times for it .

Received a call from 757-506-3095 at 12:14 PM (ET) on 10MARCH2016 stating he was Officer Black from the IRS. I responded OK, he hung up.
