This was for a subsidiary IRS agency offer about getting $1400 + $500 gift card for extra income but the original number I called transferred me to a insurance agency in California (after I was asked my zip code which I am in Texas) I was supposed to be hearing about this claim for IRS extra income help. But it turned out it was all a scam I have a full phone recording (as I recorded the whole call in case) glad I did.

He said he was an Irs recruiter and he wanted me to fill out paperwork. I thought it was legit because i did fill out an app for the irs but i guess that was fake. He also set up a zoom meeting as well. Now when i tried to file taxes someone used my social security number.

Reduced pay during service. Instead of using payroll the owner decides writing personal checks and using cash app instead of the system for the business and takes a percentage based off taxes. Unprofessional and not how a business is run. Proceeds to threaten me with law enforcement instead of recrifying the issue legally.

Hello,
I am a newly licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of Florida, and I just set up a LLC for myself recently. Before I can open a bank account for my LLC, I have to apply for a Federal EIN. So, today I Google searched "LLC EIN" and clicked on one of the first websites that came up:
I went on this website and it looked like a legitimate IRS website. I entered in all of my information, including name, address, social security number, etc. Then it directed me to a page to enter debit card information for a payment of $299.00. I am totally new to this whole process so I did not know that an EIN should have been free. So I paid the $299.00 not knowing, and then I contacted a friend to confirm that it is normal to be charged for an EIN. I was informed that this service should be free. So there is someone getting peoples' information and money, and then filing for a FREE EIN number and then emailing the person their EIN number.
The email does not have an address on it. When I call the number online, it goes to a "voicemail box that is full" so I could not leave a message. All $299.00 has already processed, and I have no way of knowing if they are going to use my personal identification information. I am going to my bank today to file a dispute to try to retrieve my money, but I was unable to stop payment since it was a debit transaction.
I am not sure if this company has already been reported to the ScamPulse.com or not, but I hope they can be stopped!
Thank you.

My 92 year old grandmother received a call from the IRS. They asked for her social security number, which she gave them. I called her bank to let them know. I also called our local ScamPulse.com office and was given additional advice including freezing her credit bureau reports and alerting social security administration.

They call you and there is a recording that says you can be arrested for issues regarding taxes. When they come in the line and you start asking questions they get annoyed and ask why you are calling them. Then when you point out that they are a scam they disconnect.
